You mention his kids... I don't know if this is where you are going with it but... I've had discussions with his ex-wife (Trish) and have had conversations with people who are close to his other ex-wife (Dawn), etc... There is paperwork out there on public record that Morrison underwent "sperm washing" in order to have children, therefore they wouldn't have been born with the virus.

Well, those doesn't look like paperworks. Yet there was a possibility of such procedures, didn't know that too. But didn't Trish deny AIDS along with Tommy himself? And they didn't have children, Tommy had them with Dawn (possibly with both Dawns he married, I didn't try to figure it out, honestly).

He had the sperm washing done when married to the second Dawn. And, it's all accounted for. It works. As for the denials of never having HIV--- that was his last wife Trish's bullshit. Matter of fact she's taking a lawsuit to the SCOTUS to reverse Morrison's HIV test done by NV commission in 1996.

The woman's a nut. I've talked to her many times. I hope the SCOTUS rules against her. Morrison died of AIDS, period. Her argument is that the HIV test administered reads on the box, "Does not test for HIV," or some horseshit.

It is nothing more than a money making scheme that her and Morrison tried to do when he was alive.

Tommy obviously died because of AIDS complication's, yes. Unfortunately he broke mentally and went to the denial. The story of him getting infected is still mysterious though.

He was an admitted steroid abuser, drug addict and was practically a sex addict--- it's not a surprise how he got it, it's the question of when & where that'll always be a mystery. I believe it was right in Oklahoma. HIV was exploding across the country and Oklahoma had high HIV rates--- and to this day Oklahoma has horrible drug & STD statistics.

As I mentioned before, heavyweight contender Monte Masters from Hartshorne, Oklahoma who was Pat O'Grady's son in law for a time died of AIDS one month after Morrison was diagnosed. Because it's two boxers in the same state, running in similar circles, etc. I have to assume that the drugs/steroids and ring rats all came from a source both men frequented.

Unfortunately, Tommy indeed lost the battle to that demons of him, so I agree with you and his own confession in 96, that his life-style was reckless and led to getting HIV.

One thing I don't think I had heard discussed before is Is it possible that he may have contracted it from any infected needles that were used for his tattoo's in the late 1990's'early 200's ?.
(like how the theory of how EZY E may have gotten it)
at some point he had a big Tattoo put on his right Bicep to commerate his win over George Foreman and winning a title.
in 2006 he had also had planned to get a tattoo over his win of Razor Ruddock (not sure if he got that one or where)

Morrison had earlier Tattoo's tho .
around 1979 when he was 10 ,his mother Diane used a hot needle and ink to etch some boxing gloves onto his left shoulder/arm.( is that the tattoo seen on his left bicep ?I always thouths it was the head of a cougar, but maybe
that was tatooed over ?
and and reportedly he had a big tattoo of Elvis on his hip/buttock (not sure when he got that one).
he also had a tattoo commerating his brother who was killed in a drunk driving incident.
check out this article from 2006.

On this day (November 16) in 1990.(28 yrs ago)
ROCKY V was released to Movie theaters Nationwide.
( it had its world premiere a few days earlier Nov.13 in West Hollywood CA.)
as a result at this point Morrison then becomes a "Hollywood Celebrity"
and his "Bimbo Magnet" status increases 100x as a result.
Where were you when the movie came out 28 years ago and where did you see it ?
( I was 30 yrs old then and saw it at a mall theater in Pensacola Florida)

also,it is interesting to note that from January to December 1989-Tommy Morrison had 19 pro fights !
He was involved in the filming for about 6 months (with a month off break) finished filming around March 1990.
But had only 3 fights in 1990 ( first one in June(broke his hand in that fight against Woolard)
and the last 2 bouts were in Oct and Nov. 1990).

Tommy Morrison's 10th aperance on ESPN nad his first fight as a Hollywood Celebrity
(ROCKY V had been released 2 months earlier)
This is also the fight that James "Quick" Tillis later claimed in his 2000 autobiography that he threw
to get back at his managers for ripping him off 18 thousand dollars before the fight so he just "allowed"
Morrison to knock him out in one round.

I've decided to upload on youtube the fights of Tommy, that can't be found there. Here's what I've got for the moment. A lot of his fights are in this 1990 documentary, probably these are too, but it'll be easier to find them separate, I believe. Some blokes have already posted several of those fights this way, I'll try not to repeat.

It is rather curious why his fights with Charlie Hostetter (Oct 1989)
and Charlie Woolard (June 1990) were not aired on ESPN. Anyone know the reason why ?
Here is Morrison's 28th pro fight and his 11th ESPN ring appearance. (June-27-1991)

The Mercer vrs Morrison fight was originally scheduled for August.9.
but Morrison sustained a cut above his right eye during sparring that required 12 stitches and the fight had to be rescheduled
for October.

After a 4 month lay-off Morrison returns for his 29th pro fight
and for the WBO HWt Championship.
