while were on that type of thing, is it true warrington was 2-0 vs galaghad in the ams
Not sure but irrelevant as Galahad didn't start boxing until 14.
Jason Barker was a kid at the Ingle gym and he beat a Bradford Police kid 5 times. The Bradford kid was Junior Witter.
Yes its true and it is relevant.
To what degree its relevant is the question. It could well be that it is significantly not relative in the least and it could be a fact that until kid gets into his stride, should he meet josh he doesnt quite flow the same he would of done in them early rds.
The first fight was close and the 2nd fight was easy for warrington.
Warrington started boxing at 7 years old whilst Galahad was 14. When they met as amateurs it's fair to say that Galahad was a novice.
I once met a man in Dewsbury who beat Naz at 11. How relevant was this to Naz's world title fights?
Or Jason Barker's 5 wins over Junior Witter?

The two examples you gave there had no relevance as they never met as pros. Had naz met that kid again as a pro then there might of been a different story in nazs record. The same foes for witter.
If there were to be any relevance it would of been in the 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th fight of witter v barker and the 2nd fight against the kid from dewsbury who fought naz.

An 11yr old Naz could not hit like a pro Naz. Barker became a Scottish champ as a pro Witter won everything. Been more mature / older....life choices.... longer/more rounds would be the relevance for any of the above

Galahad lost a lot of steam after that positive test. The story about his brother spiking him was bizarre and in my opinion made him look like he was covering up his own guilt. One of the strangest excuses a fighter had made for testing positive

Not particularly interested in Kid Galahad if I'm honest. In part due to a lack of decent competition, in part due to the drug test failure probably. Saying that, looking at the IBF top 15 though there's nobody I'd be dying to see Warrington fight, so we may as well have an Brit vs Brit world title fight.
Quigg should be targeting a fight with Warrington as well. Valdez, Russell and LSC a level above him imo. He's down Hearn's pecking order since moving to America so no doubt he'd be allowed to fight on BT.

when I think of Kid Galahad's brother, the word 'scamp' comes to mind.

could be getting a step closer. IBF ordered Galahad v Toka Kahn Clary eliminator. Had never heard of him. Decent record apart form getting blasted out in a round of a 14/7 guy with a poor ko record. Watched a few of his fights on youtube - looked truly awful in the fight he got stopped but decent in some of the others. Goes to the body a lot, looks a big lad at the weight- should be a good step up for Galahad - if he takes it.

Barry should remake this song
Toka Khan, Toka Khan, Toka Khan, let me rock you Toka Khan.

allegedly won the purse bid for the IBF featherweight final eliminator between Kid Galahad and Toka Kahn Clary with a bid of just $20k as he was the only bidder.

Kid Galahad is higher ranked I believe? Even the eliminators are 75-25 split.
Khan Clary would be making $5k.. He might drop out.
But what some boxers don't realise now is, sometimes these risks are worth taking. If he's even one bit confident in his ability and thinks he can beat Galahad, then take the $5k, take the fight, win the fight and bloody get yourself a world title opportunity where he will be paid more.

Can't see Galahad turning it down, the only way he will get a title shot unless WBSS do a 126lbs one. he has been paid peanuts since his comeback from a drug bust. Clary might but he hasn't got many options on the table. better to take a risk and fight Warrington for a lot more.

Josh Warrington is the Pearl in British Boxing, he is a 1st Class Boxer with a personality that goes with it.
he should be managed properly and guided straight to TOP Level status, he has the ability & potential to go down as a British ATG.
a much more preferable all round public figure than any of them out there, he should be the Jewel in our Crown in my humble opinion.
