Usyk v Bellew - What Happens
Re: Usyk v Bellew - What Happens
Bellew would get smashed from pillar to post
Re: Usyk v Bellew - What Happens
I'm pretty sure Tony by KO has got so many votes just 'cos the way you worded it,
"I carry pooowaaaah"
Way to influence a poll - You should be in charge of all future referendums* !
*referenda ?

Usyk stops him, probably by TKO in the later rounds.

It's definitely happening, Hearn has allready started the promotion, just said Usyk has established himself as the P4P number 1.
Re: Usyk v Bellew - What Happens
He'll have to put his usual spin on it big time to get the money Bellew will be looking for. Some prime fake beef! He'll need to make Usyk wear a t-shirt with Bellews nan on the front in a bikini and 'I pumped yer maw' on the backNightmare Roy wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 07:22 It's definitely happening, Hearn has allready started the promotion, just said Usyk has established himself as the P4P number 1.![]()

Winning all those titles in opponents back yards puts him up there.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 07:22 It's definitely happening, Hearn has allready started the promotion, just said Usyk has established himself as the P4P number 1.![]()

Not sure about lb for lb number one, but that performance on Saturday night was as impressive as anything I`ve seen for a good few years.
It`s easy to say now that Gassiev was one dimensional and just a slugger, but the truth is he was totally outclassed, outboxed and outfought by a master technician. I genuinely though that if Gassiev could get inside the jab he might stop Usyk. The reality was that he never had a chance.
I`ve seen nothing from Lomachenko that matches that performance.

Re: Usyk v Bellew - What Happens
I`ll look forward to the build up if this fight comes off.
I doubt bellew will be as mouthy. Firstly he knows he is on for hiding in this fight and secondly Usyk can hardly speak English apart from "I feel"
The old "dees fists feed de kids" and "simples as dat, you better get up and not spew it," is not going to cut any ice with Usyk.
Bellew just winds me up big time. I lost all respect for him when during the first Haye fight press conference he was swearing like a madman, constantly and then Haye stood up and was swearing. Bellew kept repeating in a slow voice "Mind the language boy there are children in our presence" to which the meatheads in the audience cheered. Utterly pathetic.
C`mon Usyk, rid us of this man.

I don't understand why everyone is saying Hearn is clambering for the fight, whilst Usyk had a great win, the vast majority of the casual audience still don't know who he is & that's the target market for a Hearn PPV nowadays.
Bellew is looking to make money for his upcoming retirement & would draw FAR more PPV buys fighting either Fury or Whyte if he looks good against Parker.

That left me even more confusedGrilling Machine wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 17:54Referendums, aye. Referenda's a collective noun for all individual instances of referendums.
That said, referendas is also accepted as a plural.

Use what ya like is the official rule! I'd go with referendums, but who cares.

It's nothing - entirely forgivable.
Boxers have to lie to themselves to get an edge and sell the fights. A lot of dumb self-serving crap is said/done. Bellew has mixed with the elite and made elite money, without elite skills - so his annoying persona is clearly working for him.

As I often say, Bellew is actually a good listen when he’s talking about boxing in general. I really admire his vocal anti-drugs stance as well.
It’s only when he’s talking about himself or his immediate rivals that he turns into a gibbering raving lunatic.

the annoying persona and being a bigmouth working for him is one thing. pretending to play the moral card over swearing, having sworn like a trooper himself, and acting the 'family man' card to try to get points in front of the home crowd, is a total prat's move.skanksta wrote: ↑24 Jul 2018, 17:11Ach !Counter-puncher wrote: ↑24 Jul 2018, 09:51I remember that it was terrible.forcefraser wrote: ↑24 Jul 2018, 07:05 Bellew just winds me up big time. What I'm saying is TB knowsthis when you play it back to him after the fight.
He's just doing anything to wind himself up in to the 'hate zone' - so he really wants to beat the other guy senseless. A lot of them do it. The fact he feels the need to do it, actually suggests he's a decent guy - he struggles to want to '"smash heez face in" without working on it.

What happens?
Usyk beats up a brave Bellew at cruiserweight then afterward Bellew gets emotional, begins with the disclaimer “I’m not making excuses, but...” and then says, “I would’ve beaten him at heavyweight catchweight of 210-pounds”...
