He completely schooled Sano with his jab, so there's a very good jab there, even if he doesn't make the most of it whilst destroying the guys he had recentlyjamamb wrote: ↑07 Oct 2018, 18:35 inoue might be the most impressive raw talent right now
aside from the power, absolute top flight hand speed and is so natural throwing some pretty hard combos, like hook to uppercut with same hand. hes just got such an excellent power shot game in power, speed, variety, and combo
the best chance to beat him might be a tall guy who can jab and move and keep him out of range better. hes not so much a jabber and maybe a longer guy could be pesky and land the jab as inoue comes in looking for power shots
but way easier said then done, i think he might simply be too much of a talent for the others
payano and mcdonnell were not the mugs they looked, both had some solid wins

well if he has a jab too and makes sure to use it if need be then it will help him a lot vs the type of fighter i described
i think he may simply be too much of a talent for this field, even if they come with the right approach . young pac was mentioned and though different styles i do see the same explosive speed + power combo

McDonnell was a tall rangy with a good jab and we all know what happened there...

i dont really see mcdon as that type though, hes tall but really has been more of a grinder who wins with work rate and having better stamina then his opponents, so he racks up the second half points
tete is more what im thinking though i think in reality inoue prob beats him too

bantamweight
Naoya Inoue 16 0 0
vs
Juan Carlos Payano 20 1 0
World Boxing Association World Bantamweight Title
Inoue needed half a round to KTFO Payano with the first big shot of the fight
Payano was a pretty durable high pace awkward fighter... Surprised he got disposed of as easily. Payano seem to have been caught cold but still that is a hell of a win for Inoue who continues to show signs of a monster
