Dillian Whyte’s next heavyweight opponent to be revealed this afternoon

Dillian Whyte’s next opponent is set to be announced this afternoon at a London press conference.

Matchroom Boxing, who promote the Brixton heavyweight, have sent out an invite for media to attend a 1.30pm gathering.

It is widely expected that Whyte, ranked highly by all the world governing bodies, will rematch against Dereck Chisora in December at Greenwich’s 02 Arena.

Would be a massive surprise if it's anyone but Chisora, it's not even well hidden but there's a small chance as neither was Whyte's fight with Pulev>Ortiz>Parker in the summer. Not only are most of the half-decent heavyweights now booked up, Chisora is somehow probably the best available heavyweight. Not sure where this leaves a potential WBO eliminator though...

It's basically all but confirmed. Matchroom's youtube channel has a live stream going up in 3 hours called: Dillian Whyte v Dereck Chisora rematch launch press conference.
