I suppose if the ‘right diet’ consists solely of Mexican beef, uncastrated boar, and protein shakes mixed by Kid Galahad’s brother, it may just be possible.
Look at the pictures of a prime heavyweights from a hundred years ago. Were they on PEDs?

Jeffries is maybe the best example of a big heavy from Johnson's era:

Historically, it's probably Carnera among naturals:

No jokes. Yes, they are smaller, but this was before sports science, dieticians, current training methods. Genetics plays a big part also.

I mean, a hamburger isn't a PED, somehow in some situations it's certainly Performance Enhancing.
I've seen a table full of pills that Tyson Fury is taking which shocked me, I never took any pills and I look (far) more mucled then he does.

I'm confident he doesn't break the WADA rules, but AJ certainly takes all kind of unnatural protein shakes even in front of a camera, something I've never done either.
I have somehow eaten a lot of eggs, chicken, soda and other things that appearantly make you muscled. I already ate that a lot when I was still a child, I didn't have a clue that that was probably part of the reason I was so muscled compared to my classmates. And actually, even if I see some of them right now, I'm in much better shape as most of them while I never went to the gym for it.

There's plenty of peds that can be taken and have been taken over the years that can't be tested for because the testers don't know what they are looking for, the balco scandal is a good example, they were producing Tetrahydrogestrinone, "the clear" which was never marketed for medical use so couldn't be tested for until someone ratted. We would be naive to think their aren't drugs out there that we/testers don't know about and can't test for. Sarms and gh molecules have massive potential. It's not cheating if it isn't on the ban list... Yet. Morally wrong yes but that's up to the fighter to live with.

Great fighters but physique wise, pretty easy to achieve with a small amount of training and half decent nutrition mate. Not got much muscle at all, not quite sure what you think you are looking at tbh but suggests you do not work out at all

- No surprise to see the dereliction by the usual suspects here and CS who should know better, yet remain obstinately obtuse. AJ joining Manny and Canelo as the posterboys for PED use based upon such flimsy evidence that no US court would dare to legally convict them, and this cadre call themselves educated?

Unlike TUE 50-0, AJ and Manny never had any positive drug tests to my knowledge, nor needed a backdated TUE by the Travis Tygart/USADA and Vegas commish to disguise that in his biggest fight, HE was the FLAMING PED abuser! According to this bunch, it's perfectly OK to use BALCO Vic VADA vitamins designed to pass VADA testing, a seedy den empowered by a n'er do well alchemist engaged blatant public fraud.

Fools' Gold to Gold after a felony conviction. Sweet gig.

I take this personally because you could be accusing me of PED use, not to mention many here by admitted lifestyle choices would fail VADA/USADA drug screening. It always escapes those less manly than others of us that we actually produce our own testosterone as I have proven to my satisfaction with significant results in short 4-6 month stints of weight lifting 3x in my life. In my mid 50s I went on a 4 month tear and gained 13% of my body weight while retaining my same pant size to prove idiots on a baseball forum wrong. I've maintained that look ever since with light maintenance though my strength is down due to permanent injury.

And the mantra defaulting to "everyone is juiced" is on par with everyone being murderers. I mean, WOW, I could have never conceived of such a thing in my youth, yet here I be with PED Abusers and Murderers in the Mist?

Some strange posts on this thread.

Does anybody on here have proof he's on the juice? Probably not

Are there things that suggest he is on the juice such as distended gut, extreme muscle mass gain in a short amount of time whilst doing a lot of cardio? Yes

Make your own mind up? I'm sure most top level athletes and sports people are on gear so I don't think it's that big a deal

Yeah, it’s especially odd when people say things like “innocent until proven guilty” and “never failed a test”, cos we all know the litany of examples where athletes have 100% cheated but were never caught.

I don't understand how Fury (or the Fury's) dont get any negative press regarding their 2 year drug bans.

The fans don't seem to be bothered either. Why do some boxers get easier rides than others?

Is it because of the perceived level of advantage? With Tyson never having a muscle bound physique, are fans more likely to forget the past wrongs

With the general consensus that Jobsua is too muscled and wouldn't gas as easily if he was a bit lighter, it'd be doubly stupid for him to take illegal muscle-building supplements/drugs.

I think loads of top sportsmen/women are on it, boxers, athletes, tennisers, F1 drivers, cyclists, footballers and so on.

Reminds me of an old Lee Evans joke "maybe we should have the Anabolic Games, the Triple Jump would a hop, skip and where the f*ck did he go!"
