How is it a misrepresentation if you only include neutral observers who vote with their heads vs their genes ? Of course pole results are very different in Mexico vs Kazakhstan/Russia, so including those would pollute objective picture.
Golovkin is fluent in English
He is absolutely not. Not even close, which is why he switched to speaking Russian and using an interpreter.
Corrected below.

There will inevitably be a multitude of polls and media articles written in both languages, but people that frequent this forum are only considering the opinions of the English-language media.
No one can claim to be providing evidence to substantiate their beliefs if they’re only supplying a sample that specificallyexcludes all theopinions conveyed by theSpanish/Russian/Kazakh language media.
Can you honestly say that I’m being unreasonable to point out an obvious flaw in a lot of the percentage or numerical claims being made?
Yes, you are definitely being yourself in this post, i.e. unreasonable, hypocritical troll.
Golovkin often speaks to the English media without using an interpreter. Do I even need to bother to provide proof of this?
I didn’t say that GGG’s English was sublime, but it’s good enough for him to be interviewed by the English media on numerous occasions and garner himself a sizable English-speaking fan-base.
And why are you quoting edited versions of my posts that you have manipulated for your own purposes? What are you trying to achieve by arguing against words we both know I didn’t even write?

By the way, some data on Spanish speaking media in a country other than Mexico:
Can Argentina and Mexico be considered rivals - on a par with Scottish and English people?

of course, why didn't we think of this earlier: Mexico and Argentina, two countries separated by a distance of FOUR AND A HALF THOUSAND MILES, a distance so great they can hardly have any conception of each other never mind a relationship based on mutual enmity, but nonetheless they might be considered rivals on a par with English and Scottish people, who are separated by a border.
that's the new kind of rivalry/feud that's in vogue nowadays. forget your next door neighbours, or countries perhaps within a few hundred miles that your country may have had wars or resource disputes with.
oh no, the most obvious countries to sustain long-term relationships of rivalry and hatred are the ones that are basically nowhere fvcking near each other and that have basically had nothing to do with each other for their entire existence
the above may seem pretty far-fetched, but all in all is totally reasonable in the context of trying to score a point on the internet.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI saying Canelo vs GGG II should've been a draw

Indeed it was a close fight but Canelo edged it by 1 or 2 rounds. It was close but clear type of fight. Probably Paulie is trying to say that Canelo didn't really beat GGG in terms of battering him to take that real champion status which is true.

Let's be real, for a 36+ y/o past fighter, Golovkin is a very tough man to give him a beating.

So Paulie agrees with one official judge and has a one point scoring difference from the other two.

It is a monumental problem these inaccurate or lazy scoring habits, and the very reason the squared circle sounds like it is I turning into a fornicating courtroom. You got people, even judges, creating doubt about what we just plainly saw happen in a round. You narrow the margins and make it look like any moment, any exchange can go either way "it was close it was close" echoing into eternity. That clouds what is really happening. One person or the other was more effective, in practically every moment. A round can be close once you add up those moments, but each moment displays who had the edge. To award Canelo 7 rounds, when his accuracy grew increasingly bad, he was getting beat up and hurt in the 2nd half it seemed more like a choice to give Canelo the close rounds that led to his win. Go back and watch it again. He was quick and flashy, and missing. Golovkin adjusted to the body shots by the midpoint, they were blocked or deflected. The shots Canelo threw "looked" better than they were, because of the speed. They were very fast. And hitting gloves, arms and air. You can't responsibly give him th edge in close rounds when he's getting jabbed and outboxed, WHILE MISSING. When your missing at the same rate as your opponent and throwing hundreds less punches that should be noticeable. When GGG came forward the first fight, he landed regularly, and his forward pressing got his opponent on the ropes and did damage. When Canelo pressed, he didn't push GGG to the ropes once, he just got jabbed then followed til they reset. Every advantage possible yet again, that wait til they fade formula eventually worked for GBP. It happened, right or wrong. But dont pretend we can't see who a winner is because it was close, there is a reason so many in various fields scored it the other way. Simply labeling that bias isn't a reflection of the truth, it's callously dismissing what many people saw happen. I still don't know how you can logically give Canelo 7 of those rounds, but I'd love to hear which rounds people gave him and most importantly why.

The's the truth.
You have to really rip a title of the champion. Canelo barely did that.

Yup and GGG is 8+ y/older than Canelo. What if GGG was 30 y/o ? Canelo waited for GGG to get older and then he barely won against GGG in their second fight.
It's like a fighter like Munguia (21) would be fighting whoever he wants during 7-8 years then go for an old Canelo. Actually it would be a damn good irony of fate if this thing will happen.

Why don't you start a thread, 'which is the biggest rivalry, England - Scotland or Mexico - Argentina?', that ought to get some good discussion going

Paulie said multiple times that one can't possibly give a fight to Canelo when using the same criteria for all rounds, and he called the result a robbery. So, he agrees with 96% of experts who gave it to Golovkin or had it a draw, meaning that Golovkin would keep his belts and his 0.
