This is edited version of my dream weight categories - special for You Ilya :D what do you think?
Ironically that weight distribution still leaves Ilya's 205 pound fight weight boxer without proper division.

If hes opponent drained just 10 lbs he would be 8.5 pounds lighter in the ring

Lot of tweaking for nothing

That's why i said I'd prefer more than one extra heavy weight class. Still it's better than getting in the ring with a guy who is a head taller and outweighs you by 50 pounds! Boxers should be weighed right before the the fight. If they are worried about making weight they should have access to accurate official scales in the days or weeks before. But this dehydrating and then piling on weight right before a fight is both unhealthy and unfair.
I do agree with you on that weight game and on how bad it is to the fighters and boxing in general.

The Boxingwriter did a good article about the weigt in madness.

I still don't think we need another heavy division. Small guys should fight at cruiser where they actually belong.

Small guys already have their own custom made teeny weeny 3 pounds wide weight divisions. Men over 200 pounds are not "small guys"...except in pro boxing!

I tried looking up info on him but all I can get are his record and wiki entires that obviously haven't been updated since 2018. It's like he's frozen in time.
