Buffer came back from having throat cancer, years ago. Definitely brought some class - like Lennon Jr did - to the big events.

Buffer is well past it but he still brings the Vegas swagger so when you see him you remember the glory days and don't see the doddery 70+ old man in front of you so much.

Diamante is competent but he's nowhere near as good as buffer once was. It's well overdue being let go but I'll still be sad when it happens.

Stephens is very good and sad to not seem him on sky recently. Dimante is good but Buffer definitely past his best. What happened to the Matchroom MC Academy winner?? Have they ever used him?

The worst announcer screw-up I remember is when Wladimir was introduced as Vitali Klitschko before Sanders fight.

Buffer is definitely past his best but promoters hire him because his presence is synonymous with major events.

Helps the promoter create an illusion with the viewing public that they are selling a big fight when sadly in most cases these days this isn't the case.
