David is a tremendous operator at this level. I don't think he'll mind being the 'away' fighter on this card.

The way he went to Spain and beat up their big-punching hardman Kerman Lejarraga showed his balls and chin.

Then he went over and did it again !

Lejarraga stopped both Frankie Gavin and Bradley Skeete inside the distance.

I've not been impressed with Kelly recently. Far too much posturing and trying to be flashy rather than putting shots together. Talks too much as well and sounds like he believes his own hype which is never a great sign. Big test here if it actually goes ahead this time. Props to him if he gets the W because Avanesyan is no joke.

Neil Marsh tearing into Booth and Matchroom, quite enjoyed that  I like Avanesyan for this one. Sky Bet have him a slight favourite over Kelly at the minute so not too much value in backing David but he's performed very well recently.

Ellie Scotney has signed a long-term promotional deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and will make her highly-anticipated professional debut on the undercard of David Avanesyan vs. Josh Kelly at The O2 in London on Saturday March 28.

Didn't Booth attend a rules meeting or something with Marsh whilst in the knowledge the fight wasn't going ahead?

I feel Kelly needs a KO loss on his record anytime now. He needs that to mature as a boxer.

Looking forward to this one

The only problem is that every time I see that someone has posted a comment I automatically think that it’s because the fight has been called off!

There’s a long way to go - right up to a few hours before the actual fight based on past experience

I think I will assume that it will be called off so I will be happy if it doesn’t but not surprised if it does

Not just that mate, if I remember correctly from the twitter wars afterwards I think that Ava was gloved up when they were told that the fight was off

Eddie Hearn compensated him too. He knew he had to.

It was off well before that stage - mid afternoon.

Kelly has showed he is fast but just against slower guys. Avanesyan makes moves and strikes well, Josh is in for a troubled night.

Not seeing the bug fuss about Kelly to be honest. He's got his work cut out in this one.

As for Booth, he didn't come across well in that presser. Looked like a right fool when he wouldn't even answer back someone calling him a crook lol

I must admit I hadn’t really heard about Avanesyan when the match was made first time around. But I did watch live (online) when Lejarraga battered Skeete double-quick and finished Frankie Gavin very easily. So, only having recently become aware that Avanesyan finished Lejarraga twice makes me quite excited for this fight and impressed by him. He is clearly no joke. I find that my interest is greater when i have a point of reference in respect of the fighters.

I worry for Kelly and think he becomes a touch negative and a bit of a pot shotter when he can’t blow away his opponent. This could be a real gut check for him and he may be dragged into deep dark waters. Really looking forward to this!

I like Kerman Lejarraga, (Spanish Kostya Tszyu) shame he got exposed. Still would have decent scraps with the British welterweights over here.
