No comment on Fury coming in at 256?
I thought people were predicting he would come in lighter or at least the same weight he was for Wlad
I assumed Fury would be closer to the 247 he weighed against Wlad. Especially since he was only 258 against Pianeta in mid-August. That means he only shed 1.5 pounds after he fought Pianeta 3.5 months ago.
Maybe Fury was satisfied with his performance vs Pianeta but Wilder is a better fighter than the Italian and Fury wasnt as mobile against Pianeta as he was vs Wlad. Could that cost him against Wilder?

Fury wanted to come in heavy, I think he wants to control Wilder in clinches. He was doing heavy weight lifting in camp which is not typical for boxers going into a major fight.

Makes sense. Thanks for the input!

Tyson Fury’s mathematically-calculated average weight for the first 26 bouts that he has competed in is actually 257¼lbs.
The Brit simply hasn’t “come in heavy”. It’s a terribly incorrect statement to make. The numbers don’t lie.

So you think it's a matter of misdirected training or lack of discipline? I'll be the first to admit I dont know if it's a factor or not because I dont follow Fury that closely. I'm interested in input from as many folks as possible.

I should have qualified that statement by saying he wanted to have a significant weight advantage over his opponent. Fury was essentially at this weight in August prompting speculation that he would come in a at career low, possibly to gain speed and mobility.

True 50/50 fight in my opinion
I could see Fury getting into a rhythm and boxing to a large points win.
Can also see Fury so aware of the right hand that he walks himself into a fight ending left hook. Wilder has unusual power in both hands. That's what makes him so difficult.
That Hanks Joyce fight is very interesting to me. I think Joyce might be jumping up too fast in competition. Hope he proves me wrong.
At the sports book here in Mexico, Joyce is a 1-100 favorite. The same astronomical price as Hurd.
Apparently the smart guys who make their living laying odds, don't think for a second that Joyce is jumping up too fast.

I mean this in a respectful manner, but what do you mean?
I think Tyson has focused on fitness and strength rather than weight. So he looks smaller, because he has more muscle, even though his weight hasn’t changed.

See MM, I told you not to worry.
Those Las Vegas wise guys at the sportsbooks were much more optimistic about Joyce's progression than you were.
Or maybe they were just very pessimistic about Hanks' talents.
Let's see if they strike it right again with Hurd.

Deontay Wilder's average weight, whenever he's competed against a top-ten The Ring rated opponent, is only 216lbs.
The American’s average weight for his last two bouts is only 213lbs.
It’s clear that ‘The Bronze Bomber’ can make 200lbs easily.
A lot of people mocked my claim, despite Deontay Wilder previously stating that he'd consider making the move down to cruiserweight.
So I find it really ridiculous for people to have argued against this point, whilst falsely citing that Wilder only previously weighed light due to “illness”. What a pile of fµck¡ng bȕllsh¡t! Those stupid fµckȅrs that said such things are as dumb as fȕck!
Come on people, let’s hear those excuses! I want to see someone attempt to engage in this debate with me once again, despite the overwhelming amount of compelling evidence to support my stance! So bring it on – I dare you to do your worst!
Deontay Wilder’s official ring weight for last weekend’s bout against Tyson Fury was only 209lbs.
