Just making you aware, BT Sports 1 is starting at half 11. It says Fight Night. Don’t know what they’re maybe. Maybe the untelevised undercard.

Personally I hope they show Stevenson’s fight.
Showing the untelelevised undercard on tv.

Hmmm....
You guys get that all the time.

Fury has his weight perfect I think, Wilder is ridiculously light for a HW in this modern era, he weighed in what most CW probably enter the ring out.
Truly, unless Wilder is planning on floating like a butterfly, I'm not feeling easy about this low weight the last two fights.
His two best results, Shirley ?
Fury's weight worries me more.

Wilder doesn't concern himself with weight. They just train like a motherfucker and see where it lands

I agree unfortunately. I don't doubt for a second that Fury is the better boxer, the better fighter and the more confident fighter - however, I think the American will bring too much fitness for him.
Even if Wilder is becoming outboxed, which will mean Tyson expending energy, Wilder will at some point step back and pick hard shots. I don't think Fury will be able to avoid his fists for all that long. I would like to be wrong! Nowt against Wilder, but if Fury could do this, considering where he's been not too long back...it'd be something indeed :box:

Edit:

Oh yeah - forgot to add - I think Fury will get the shaft big time if it goes the distance. Ricky Hatton alluded to it this week and the American is a well-backed cash cow, so I keep reading.... This being Boxing, a nice fat dollop of corruption would be in no way out of place, sadly.

Perhaps not, but I expected him at his median weight of around 222, figuring the Ortiz weight was due to the flu he said he had. I still think he lays Fury out, but I was surprised by the low weigh-in.

Yeah I think you're right. If he's lighter it means he's worked harder.

People making too much of their weights for this fight. There was always going to be a huge difference in weight but both guys are close to the weights in their last fights. Fury’s weight is about average for him.

Pretty much this.
Fury WAS better - I'm certain of that, but the last fights...jeez ! Beating Pianeta in a sh1t-fest or beating Ortiz in a thriller. Tyson does have an X-factor that makes you think normal rules don't apply to him, but they do.

I took it as he trained his ass off for the biggest fight of his life.

Fury just wants to stink it out and see if he gets another gift. The wlad fight was so sh*t by both of them that it should have been called a draw and the titles declared vacant.

For the good of boxing i hope wilder gets a spactacular ko but I think its going to be a drab fight and could even end up a draw

UK featherweight Isaac Lowe (16-0-3, 6 KOs) opened the Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder show with a matinee victory, landing undefended strikes to the head and body that floored Argentine Lucas Rafael Baez (33-17-5, 17 KOs) twice in the fifth round.

At 2:11 of the fifth, the non-televised bout was over in a stoppage that left a dazed and slumped over on a stool for a couple of minutes before he could leave the ring under his own power.

Jessie Rodriquez, a San Antonio light-flyweight trained by Robert Garcia, was quick and accurate, an overwhelming combination in a one-sided decision over Josue Morales (8-9-3) in the second bout on a card featured by the Wilder-Fury heavyweight title fight.

Philadelphia light-middle weight Julian Williams scores quick stoppage

It was never a question of if, just when. The when was early. A stronger Julian Williams (25-2, 16 KOs), a Philadelphia light-middleweight, sent Mexican Francisco Javier Castro (28-9, 23 KOs) crashing into the ropes. Seconds later, Castro was unable to defend himself in a bout stopped at 2:40 of the second round.

Jesus, just got back from the pub attending an annual xmas meal with friends - was going to sack it off and get an early night and wake up - thought the undercard might keep me awake :bag:

Gvozdyk looks to be on his way to dethrone Adonis Stevenson. 7 rounds in the bank so far. Teddy Atlas may just have himself another champion.
