It's actually pretty common for abusive people, especially abusive parents to do it because of mental illness, and sadly pass on the suffering.

That's still an excuse that. Plenty of people get abused who don't go around bullying people.

People handle things differently, these things can cause very different behaviors to a wide range of levels.

Some people live to 100 smoking, but it kills others by 50.
