Olympic bronze medal winner David Price (23-6, 19 KOs) is back with a victory, after stopping Tom Little (10-7, 3 KOs) in the fourth round.
Price's career hung in the balance, after suffering a brutal fifth round knockout loss at the hands of Alexander Povetkin in March, and then getting stopped in four rounds by Sergey Kuzmin in September - in a fight where Price suffered a torn right bicep and couldn't continue.
Little was stopped in his last two bouts as well, with a fourth round TKO defeat to Filip Hrgovic in January and a fifth round TKO defeat at the hands of Daniel Dubois in June.

i was expecting Price to stop this guy inside 2. Its just not there really is it? Maybe British title fight?? I dont know, hes not going further.

I see the Price fight was contested under the old 'First One to Wobble Gets Stopped' rules.
Other fighters compete in the 'You Can Only Get Stopped Once You've Been Beaten Half to Death' style.
Boxers literally have no idea what version of the sport the BBBFC have them competing in that night until the fight's already in play.

They kinda do though - first they have to look at what would favour the MatchRoom fighter. That's the version of the sport they're competing in.

He probably should, but it appears his choice would be to decide what weight class he wants to be a journeyman/Gatekeeper on. Top 4/5 CW's are really good.

theres a lot more between journeyman and the top 5 lol. gave up a lot of size to schwarz and takam isnt a big hw but he looks much bigger framed and a bit taller

. My point is that he be on the outside looking in. There are probably many CW's who are better than Gashi, and a few young ones making noise. 1-7 can flat out whup Gashi. In the next year or two we should be hearing from Okolie; Turchi; Balski even. I'm just saying in either division, he's not going anywhere much. IMHO.

Even though Takam finally got the guy in the 7th, he looked like sh*t through most of that fight.
Don't see why that 3rd knockdown was necessary for the corner, Gashi looked spent at the end of the 6th, and once he started getting dropped they might as well have just called it. Especially after that 2nd knockdown, but I figure he'll be fine it wasn't all that devastating really.
Takam gets the W, doubt this one does much for his reputation but it's a win, and keeps him in the mix I suppose.
