It has taken me a minute to piece it together. It first appeared as though Fury's side was declining a 60/40 split (to fight Joshua) and instead insisting on 50/50, but what I think they are claiming is the offer was significantly less than 60/40 (that Hearn is claiming) and that is why Fury's side was insulted, and made the counter offer of 50%. Come on now compromise.

A lot of back and forth has gone on in the media in recent weeks about what would be next for Tyson Fury and WBC champion Deontay Wilder after their draw last month in LA.

A fight that captured the world’s attention.

Well, now we know.

The news has come today that the World Boxing Council have officially ordered the rematch to take place next.

Derailing any chance for Anthony Joshua to take on either of them next up on April 13th at Wembley stadium.
