It will be interesting to find out.
Perception on here can be very different to what actually happens in the world at large.
True. Its interesting one and if the numbers are off then it will have to be Fury or Wilder after

Everybody writing whyte off already based on what? It's always just one punch in this division. Like if aj gets caught like chisora did, he wouldn't even blink i guess cause he is so well built🤣

Will be a competitive fight & tough night for joshua definitely, whyte will leave it all in the ring.

Of course Joshua can catch him but i also wozldn't be surprised if whyte knocks him out. Regarding the actual outcome still i favor joshua but only slightly considering his assistance by ref & judge.
Only thing that would be surprising is whyte on points, which will never happen, not even if deserved.

Based on the fact he's knocked him out already.

Their fist fight was a belter and I think the second one will be a cracking fight as well. Whyte has more than earned his shot and I fancy his chances. I can't see it going the distance, unless Joshua boxes ultra cautiously like he did against Parker, but something tells me he will want to KO Whyte and will go for it. Should be a belter.

There are many examples where the loser has reversed a ko loss with a win,not saying it will happen, but it could.

I was actually thinking about this earlier - how many examples of this are there? I couldn’t think of many where the underdog in both fights got ko’d in the first fight and then won the rematch?

it could happen mate but I think the first fight was pretty conclusive and don't really warrant a rematch. Can't knock Whyte he's done what's been asked of him but for
Me it will be same again

Rematches are often different imo, as it only stands to reason that the loser in fight 1 will employ a different game plan.

I had backed Rios to KO Alvarado in fight 1 which came good. In the rematch I had a feeling Rios would just try to walk him down again but Mike would adjust, so I backed Alvarado by dec which came good too. (They had a 3rd fight in which Rios won by KO too, but I never seen the last bout)

Whyte definitely has earned his shot. Just wish it would've come against somebody other than Joshua, but whatever. It'll be entertaining while it lasts.

I can imagine Matchroom have options on Whyte here.

I see a rematch clause and probably a piece of Whytes next 2-3 fights.

Yes there’s often differences in rematches where the boxers are relatively evenly matched.

But how often are rematches different when the loser of the first fight (as the underdog of both fights) was so comprehensively beaten up & ko’d?

Whyte knows the deal. It’s clear from Franks most recent interview Whyte didn’t even pick up the phone to speak to Queensbury.

Mostly no doubt due to Frank slagging him and Chisora off in the run up to the PPV clash.

Did he even win that round?

I can’t remember that round in particular but it was one shot, the same shot that has since sparked Browne and Chisora, and had Parker over ( yet the supposed chinny Joshua stayed up and actually fought back within a few seconds ), but did he do enough to win the round? I honestly don’t remember.

Joshua won every round (can't remember which one he was tagged in) he was stunned but not staggered. And it wasn't the same full body left hook that took out Chisora and Browne. It was a shorter counter left.

Joshua pre Wlad would have been a good time to fight for Whyte. Joshua post Wlad is a whole different (better) fighter.
It will be more lopsided than last time. Remember Whyte didn't win a round? He buzzed AJ with one punch and that was pretty much his only success. Now we have AJ confident, and a lot more experienced. Maybe he will prolong the fight for the fans, maybe he will KO Whyte in the first round.
