Former two-division world champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis, who Showtime bills as “boxing’s hottest attraction,” kicked off fight week with a public workout at the Atlanta Sports Complex on Monday night. Davis will take on Yuriorkis Gamboa for the vacant WBA lightweight title Saturday on Showtime from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
“I’m must-see TV!” said Davis, whose record of 22-0 with 21 KOs doesn’t suggest he’s wrong. “I think it’s a mistake that [Gamboa] didn’t watch my last fight in July. Saturday night we’ll see just how much he’s been studying me.”

Arrived late for the presser/weigh in, and came in 1 & 1/2 pounds over.
Sure it's not the end of the world, though it is unprofessional, and a little selfish.
What does it say when you move up, and your over in your first fight?
Lack of discipline, motivation, holiday celebrations?
Or not taking Gamboa that seriously over the Christmas break.

He’s the American Nery. Or Nery is the Mexican Tank. Always missing weight. No respect for the weight classes and belts they fight for.
Tank has moved to Lightweight and STILL can’t make weight!

Gervonta always remembers us how despite looking like a monster, he always seems unfit for the biggest chances. He is almost giving Gamboa a chance to turn the clock back.

Ahh, steady on Ruthie
Your falling into Floyd's trap; where your not supposed to like him, your supposed to want to pay to see inferior opponents fight him on the remote off chance someone might beat him.

I swear he’s had a growth spurt. I watched teofimo Lopez and him spar and tank look huge, much bigger and thicker. He’ll need to move up again imo.

Pathetic fight. Davis should win by KO and early.

Tank has a huge head. He's young enough to have had a growth spurt.
