I’m sure he WAS the target of some unacceptable racism - you only gotta read the comments from Chiggsy and the aptly-named ‘chump’ to see that - but two wrongs don’t make a right though do they ?

If the abuse can be proved, some of the fans should be facing a ban too.

Seems like an excuse to me, if you are in a big fight are you really going to be focused on what the crowd are shouting? I'd imagine you'd be concentrating so hard on actually fighting that the crowd would be the last thing you would be thinking of.

It’s difficult to know without having been there. I think 90% of us will have banter on a whole range of things, self deprecating and towards others - I’ve never worked anywhere that isn’t like that and any workplace would be worse off without it in my humble opinion.

I suppose the line is when someone takes offence and others continue with it anyway?

It's a slippery slope dealing with anyone of ethnic origin, homosexuals, someone with mental health issues now. Some folk know how to play the game and use their race, religion, sexuality or issues to their advantage.

My Mrs is a boss in the housing department at Glasgow City Council. She's been having issues with an Asian bloke for years now and despite several requests, can't get him shifted. She's seen 3 good staff members moved department because this guy has played the race card. Even though there's been no proof of his allegations people have been moved yet he stays put. She says people are on egg shells around him all the time and he's been blatantly cheeky to her face and constantly undermines her etc... I don't know the dude personally but he sounds a right petulant little jizz rag!

Exactly stu,i have had friends and colleagues with similar scenarios to your missus hence why i wrote what i wrote in the first place,maybe i could of worded it differently,if i offended anyone with my original post i apologise

Not condoning the biting at all. But being an ethnic minority myself, when someone spouts racist abuse at you, it hits a nerve and really gets to you.

It’s like they are insulting your entire race, family, friends etc and insulting you over something you have no power to change about yourself.

I got used to it somewhat, growing up in racist area but it still riled me up internally like anything.

It shouldn't matter what colour/religion/gender etc someone is. If they're a cùnt and acting up then they should be dealt with accordingly. Companies are terrified of lawsuits and handle these type of cases the wrong way.

Couldnt of said it any better myself mate. Racism is an ugly thing and should be stamped out. But when "some" asian folk are saying they have been racially abused when they havent then thats riles up. Being a cab driver in an area where there are more and more asian drivers coming onto our system im hearing more and more stories of this. One story an asian guy picks up an olderly lady he is on his hands free talking in a foreign language she tells him he is going the wrong way on a number of occasions he eventually gets to the destination and says £13 she says no its usually £6 i told you that you went the wrong way,he calls he a white english bitch says she is being racist and calls the police,the police come and tell the lady this is the 5th time he has done this and he is gonna get a warning for it now. So this old woman has the fear of him going the wrong way he is talking in a different language and we have all this stuff in the news,imagine what was going through this poor womans head.

I have heard similar stories of this type of thing about 100 times over the past 12 months and local councils do nothing.

I think that false accusations of racism actually in turn generate a lot of racism so actually can be described as a very racist act itself.
Therefore fake accusations should be dealt with in the same way as racism.

The same could be said about rape. It's the small percentage of false accusers which lead to people saying 'she prob made it up' to real accusers.
Therefor false accusers lead to real rapists getting off.

I guarantee anyone shouting racist things at a show in West Yorkshire would be lynched! Am or pro!
On a side note, watched a YouTube video of Kash and he does have a lot of “The street” about him, yet know a guy from Hull who takes his new pro to spar him and they say he’s lovely! And the Hull coach is a very intelligent man, PHD, the lot.

Never mentioned any of this in the immediate interview after the fight! Big dosser playing on the race card knowing how the gutless PC types will react

He was acting a tool in the pre-fight presser. I don't buy this line at all. A line is probably what he had actually.

There was a video doing the rounds where you could clearly hear Ali being racially abused by a member of the crowd. No excuse for biting Price though it wasnt him dishing it out.

"I'm really in the shit here. My career has gone down the tubes after my disgusting behaviour in the ring. How on earth can I dig my way out? Ahhhhh....play the race card".
