You only have to read 2 of his posts to recognize who this latest "character" is.

If the theme constantly revolves around cheating Americans, evil Wilder and drug shenanigans, figure it's asdjfskl operating under his latest pseudonym.

There's no undercard and it was only last week when he claimed his elbow hadn't fully-recovered from surgery. He did say he was in training though, but I suspect he's only performing a limited regimen (especially if he hasn't fully-recovered from his injury).
Yes, Povetkin was scheduled to fight on the Usyk undercard. The date was changed and Povetkin is no longer fighting.

I don't pay close enough attention to make dot the lines. I just ignore all of them.

Szpilka's promoter rejected offer to fight Povetkin because of the low salary they offered. But as he said, Pulev's camp offered even less.

That's why I thought ryabinsky dumped him. Evidently he's just done wasting money on him.

At such short notice, I'm not really expecting anyone within the top 100. He'll probably fight someone like Kevin Johnson.

Maybe not even him. It'll be cancelled or a real tomato can.

There's no Povetkin fight on the 18th. Boxrec has forgot to remove him as being listed as scheduled to fight.

Yes, they simply forgot to remove him from being listed as having a fight scheduled. That's all.

Fightnight Scores wrote: 07 May 2019, 07:04 This would be quite interesting actually. Surely the WBC rank based purely on in ring performance, if Dillian was to say do this and post it to social media, would be good to see if they remove his ranking, and their justification for it.

It would show further how they just pick and choose, based on who knows..... :OhYes:
That would be like carrying out an experiment on someone having them put their hand in a fire to find out whether they feel pain.

As for justification, the WBC don't concern themselves with justification because they don't give a sh1t about what boxing fans think and they know nobody is going to hurt them in the wallet which is all they care about.

In an ideal world this body and others would be ostracized. Fighters would refuse to recognize their belts or pay their sanctioning fees. These parasitical organizations would fail and from the ashes might rise a new governing body that would understand that by doing the right thing and putting the interests of the boxers, the fans, the sport first, always, would secure their future and their financial health.

Of course this is just a pipe-dream. Sulaiman knows this perfectly well and can continue to do whatever the f*ck he likes or what his paymasters dictate. As you were, nothing to see here, move along now.

That was the idea with the IBO but people say that they are shite and unrecogonised but they had the right ideas. The fans never really understood.

They can switch places with the WBC or the WBA as far as I'm concerned. They couldn't be any worse, surely they couldn't. The WBO don't impress me either and the best thing I can say about the IBF is that they are the best of a bad bunch. Not that, that is any great recommendation.

Every time I’ve reviewed the IBO’s website, it seems that their champions gain their belts by competing for a vacant title, less than half of them are rated in the top-ten by ESPN or The RING, at least one of their competitors in almost half of their title bouts are on a losing streak, many of their champions are anonymous and a disproportionate amount of their champions/challengers are from South Africa.

Admittedly I’m not sure if the situation has changed much in the last few months or so, but every time I’ve performed a review, things always seem the same.

Oh so they are a proper governing body then. None of this namby pamby nonsense where fighters who fight a lot and beat opponents with winning records, take preference and get ranked higher, like those rankings produced by individuals and organizations that don't matter, eh?

Rankings based on merit? What kind of bullshit is that, it'll never catch on..

Boxrec has always had a useless future schedule, only reliable for results.

You are 100% right all those things you say I have argued with Ed Levine but his reply is they have to survive so yes they take/sanction fights at a lower level based on a top 35 criteria, mainly because in the REAL TOP 10 every fighter is either champion, mandatory or close too, so it is not easy to make the fights. Big promoters dont align to the IBO because they can't manipulate them. As you may know I worked for years with them producing their rankings, but I don't know and have gone solo with the PBO which is the same rankings as they had (they now use Boxrec).

The principles of the PBO are exactly what everyone says they want or what boxing needs but it is hard to make friends.

It is almost eight months since his very good showing against Joshua which he was impressively winning in the early rounds. He should fight soon. He's not getting any younger. He'll be 40 in a few months.

Is it the politics of boxing that has been keeping Povetkin from getting good fights? I know how he got conspiratorially screwed out of his big opportunity with Wilder because they were afraid of losing their precious American golden goose. But he also screwed himself in his peak years by signing on with of all people in the world Teddy Atlas in New York City who screwed him out of his projected fight with Wladimir in 2010, tho they did finally fight three years later, Wlad's most discraceful fight.
