Well, we now know Bob has Lopez saved on the cards when ever he goes to them. Pathetic from the judges

He had a 2 hour surgery. They removed parts of his skull to reduce swelling.

Tim Brad said Lopez was exposed, but these things always happens. As opponents get tougher, you’re likely To go the distance. The Jap was a tall rangey dude.

I don’t think Lopez was ‘exposed’, it was an actual learning fight for him and now the fans know more about him too.

I had anticipated Nakatani might last the distance. Japanese boxers are often crude defensively, but are tough as all hell in a lot of cases. Nakatani proved to be no exception with the toughness.

Lopez needs to consider getting a more experienced trainer at this point in his career, and right away.

His father may have taken him as far as he can, I hope he can swallow his pride for his son's best interest.

Jr. needs someone now who can show him how to get by on not just natural ability.

Praying for Max too, poor kid.

Lopez got exposed. HIs mouth got ahead of his ability. He is a good fighter and has a high ceiling but not ready for Loma for a at least 5 more fights..

The Nakatani fight was bad for Lopez hype brand, but really good for his boxing craft and learning experience.

Agreed. It was good for him, if they learned their current limitations from it. I hope they don't have too much pride to realize they have more work to do. Not everyone can dominate their division after a handful of fights like Loma has.

Absolutely agree. His dad is not only a 2nd-rate trainer, but daddy's big talk has got Lopez buying into the hype that he is "the best fighter in the world."

Lomachenko will dominate Teofimo like a schoolboy!!

Ya this kid is gonna be in trouble if he lets his dad run things much longer. His dad is delusional and has his mind set on doing it one way and doesn't seem like he will change his mind. The kid has huge potential and it would be sad to see him get broken before he is ready.

He should hire Roger Mayweather or something.
