I'm guessing unanimous decision for Anthony Joshua, though very competitive. He sucks with guys who are fast or movers. I think fatboy is going to make him look like dogshit at times. But Joshua will get it because he'll appear the aggressor and hits harder.

Ruiz the best liver hunter at HW with Miller... It's his only chance here

It won't go the distance.

We'll see. If Takam (ffs) could practically go the distance it's not difficult to imagine Ruiz going ten or eleven rounds even if he doesn't go the distance. I'll be absolutely shocked if it goes less than eight rounds.

I'd guess about eight. Not long to wait now.

I just want to know who the nine votes for Ruiz Jr by KO came from. I suspect it is one of those raiding parties from another forum.

...I'll be very surprised if Ruiz turnes out to be competitive longer than just a couple of rounds..if that's gonna be the case, I'll probably reconsider AJ chances against Wilder and Co...

I expect it to be a Klitschko vs Leapai kind of fight, pig slaughtering, a fight of an naked ass against a belt

Quite a few possible scenarios that could be played out tomorrow night.

Ruiz shocks AJ with an early lightning attack

AJ gasses late on and gets stopped by Ruiz

AJ repeats Parker fight and wins by his jab

AJ decides he can't fight on the back foot all night and goes to war, stopping a game Ruiz inside 6.

Of these four potential outcomes, I'm expecting the last one, like the majority here on boxrec. There's probably at least a dozen more potential scenarios each successive one becoming less likely.

Andy Ruiz seems a bit one dimensional for this level but he might have the fastest hands of any current heavyweight. Will he get close enough to use them?

So after an intensive 4 week training camp, Ruiz comes in 6 pounds heavier than he weighed against Dimitrenko. A portly 268.

And he had promised to scale 245.

What the eff did training camp consist of? A steady diet of Taco Bell and Tecate?

It appears he attacked and conquered several dozen all you can eat buffets. :OhYes:

Taco Bell
I wish they were in my country, I got a bit hooked on the stuff in the States.
But yeah, I don't know what to think of Andy's weight for this fight.
Did he put on more dense muscle under the blubber- hence he weighs more, or as you suggest; beersies and fast food :maybe:

So Ruiz catches lightning in a bottle by suddenly being inserted into a heavyweight championship at a late date, and he can't find the motivation to practice discipline and commitment for even a short period?

Why even bother becoming a professional boxer?

He’s at his right weight. It’s not gonna slow him down. Not like he’s missed weight.

Although he did say he’d come in what 250?

About 245. Ruiz said that's when he's at his best.

I'd say he missed his target considerably.

It is an improvement over Ruiz' pro debut 10 years ago when he scaled a few pounds shy of 300. Big Babyish.

Apparently Joshua scares Ruiz less than Parker did. He only weighed 255 3/4 when he fought for the WBO title 2 1/2 years ago.

Dude is a fat joke magnet, but this scenario is real life Rocky stuff. Short notice, ridiculed, given no shot.

Ruiz Jr. may look like a fat slob but I would be very surprised if he stinks the place out. Of course, if AJ drops a bomb on him early, it could be over before three minutes are up.

Ruiz Jr. needs to make AJ think about his quick hands and stinging pop. That can buy some rounds.

Ruiz is a natural CW, also, he is worse than AJ in literally everything (maybe he has faster hands but i am not actually sure about that)
