Good move for Hughie
Good move for 'Shades of Ali', most definitely; not so sure it's a good move for Matchroom.

'Shades of Ali' couldn't sell tickets to an orgy, so I don't know what Matchroom expect to get out of it.

After a couple losses Hughie will go elsewhere anyway,i just think he's going be fed to anyone half decent as a 'name' and either stink the place out as usual or get badly beaten,or both.

Thing is, he's probably the one guy that can't knock him out, he will probably pick and poke his way to a decision, but his lack of commitment on his punches means price may just be able to throw caution to the wind.
I could see Price knocking him out. That would be a good feather in his cap on his resurgence.
Yeah, me too, though it will probably have to be early, as chasing hughie around will definitely empty his tank after a few rounds.

All he needs is one big right hand after all.

I think Hughie has a decent chin,Parker caught him with a couple of big shots and seemed to handle them ok,plus Price hasn't ko'd anyone decent for a long time.

Parker hardly laid a glove on hughie, hughie lost because he didnt even swing and miss. he just pretty much did nothing.

I don't think Parker hits anywhere near as hard as Price though. I've never really seen Parker as that big of a puncher. He's got power but I don't think it's devastating power.

Price on the other hand, whilst flawed in certain areas, power isn't one of them.

Boxing is showbiz and unfortunately Hughie isn't. Good boxer though, with hindsight I wish he'd stayed amateur and gone down the Olympic and WSB route.

Parker has looked pretty feather fisted at times tbh. couldnt dent cojanu or shot to hell leapai. hes got fast hands and can overhwelm lower level guys in combo but i defo rate price as better hitter shot for shot

remember, even though he lost Price gave counts to Povetkin, Hammer, and Thompson without even landing that much. That's a pretty high level to be hurting guys and imo clearly shows some pop.

Yes sir he can pop.
Could you imagine if he had a chin what he'd be capable of?

Ya, Price actually is quite a gifted fighter in some ways. Unfortunetly that's balanced out by some glaring flaws. If he were a tough guy he could go a long way

Hughie isn't going to headline though is he?

He'll be on the undercard of Eddie's 'stacked' ppvs. If he fiddles his way to another title shot it'll be a bonus for them.

If not they can match him with another British heavyweight like Joshua or Whyte.

I think Povetkin finishes him (provided he's not completely washed up now).

Hughie would be overestimating his ability again. Needs to go for Domestic, European or Commonwealth opponents. Losses to Parker, Pulev and Povetkin aren't bad losses but Sexton is his best win, he can beat better than that.

Loma v Campbell card maybe ?

Sure they will try and add couple of HW to that bill.

Fury v Bokole - maybe another option down the line.
