Miserable bastards!
Loads of things to be excited for. Yarde in Russia. One of the best fighters ever in London at the end of the month. WBSS final. Olympics (our squad is one of the best we’ve had.) Fury and Joshua.
That’s just the first few things that popped in my head. I know we all hate Eddie Hearn but don’t be a doom monger.
Is British boxing heading for a decline ?

Boxing isn't near the biggest platform for ESPN+. Arum has his budget and he dumped a bunch on fury. Not sure how the ppv works on ESPN with boxing. It was always the promoters risk instead of the network before.

I'm somewhat biased given that I used to work for Hatton Promotions, but I believe boxing was better when more than one promoter had a deal with Sky. It made the domestic fights more intriguing.

Totally agree. Sky signing a deal with one promoter was a ridiculous move on their partWake up call wrote: ↑24 Aug 2019, 06:51 I'm somewhat biased given that I used to work for Hatton Promotions, but I believe boxing was better when more than one promoter had a deal with Sky. As good as I think MR has been overall comparatively, I agree. Can't really get the full quality of what's out there when you restrict yourself only to one segment of it.Wake up call wrote: ↑24 Aug 2019, 06:51 I'm somewhat biased given that I used to work for Hatton Promotions, but I believe boxing was better when more than one promoter had a deal with Sky.
