With miniature depictions of all the flags this isn't exactly the easiest list to read.

i have added the ''medal table'', i guess it helps a little bit, i have used flags because otherwise it would be a lot of text and it wouldn't be easy to read too

Yeah it helps.

By the way, I've always been impressed by how well Ghana does on the World level. A small country, but obviously they do something right there when it comes to training Boxers because more often than not, if you're seeing some guy you've never heard of...but he's from Ghana...you better be careful because those guys ain't no joke.

I think a big asset for them is that they have their own unique awkward style, that is effective, and it's something that fighters don't see that often. Allowing them to disrupt guys rhythms and all that.

Ghanian fighters are usually strong and hitting hard, yeah they tend to have their own style and tend to be better trained, more skilled than other African fighters (Namibians, Nigerians based in Nigeria, Congolese from DRC, Tanzanians), we can say that Ghana have it's own School of Boxing, other African fighters seem to fight slighty different, usually worse.

Clear #2 in Africa

I think that i have seen a documentary movie or an article about boxing in Ghana, can't remind myself the details, it was interesting, it was saying that really lots of people in Ghana do train boxing, also, that there are a lot of unsanctioned fights, if i remember well.

But they aren't that small nation... 30M, it's bigger than Australia, for example.

I wasn't so much talking about the population as I was the resources available to them there. I'm sure the population is large in most African countries.

yeah, it's a very poor country so they're doing really well, sometimes you can tell that a fighter is Ghanian just by how he fights, their boxing scene and schooling are impressive.

most of African countries have big populations but Namibia is a special case... for a country of 2.500.000 people they recently do really well in boxing (as well as in some other sports like rugby)
