Cut him with a punch too. So it could be trouble for sure.

Williams is definitely bothered by the cut, and making it obvious. He's pawing at it a lot. His punch output has dropped as a result too. It's made him extra cautious.

Real good, competitive fight here. Williams coming alive in the 4th, and Rosario matching his energy. Good action here to make up for the lackluster undercard.

I don't know about big upset, but it's an upset. Good performance for Rosario.

Good fight. The crowd is upset at the stoppage, but it was fair enough I thought. Can't imagine he could've stood up to too many more shots like that.

So is Jarrett Hurd gonna fight Rosario then you guys think or Williams gonna rematch him or what?

I wouldn't mind whatever they do. This division is starting to heat up a little bit. :OhYes: :box:

Surprising Williams was thought of as that wide of a favorite. I guess with it being a relatively unknown guy, and the fight being in his hometown made it that way.

Unified world champ, only loss to a world champ at, boxrec number 3 at the weight, at home vs, pretty unknown, last fight and one of his best wins being a SD over a no-one, has lost to low quality opponent.
I Think thats a big upset and probably worthy of 9-1....

154 is one division where we're lucky there's no politics in the way of anything. All the top guys are PBC. He could just round robin all these guys for the next couple years, and it'd be great.

Tony Harrison, Erickson Lubin, Hurd, Charlo, Williams, Lara, now Rosario.

No shortage of good matchups to be had.

Imagine how hot they could if all those mid divisions were just absorbed into the next weight class up or down?

It's easy if you try :OhYes:

Even as is though. There's still plenty to be happy about for fight fans.

His improvement has been so drastic.

Not long ago he was fading against Joachim Alcine and scraping by lesser foes, and getting stopped by one of the Charles.

Suddenly he’s on fire and looking like prime versions of Toney & Hopkins. Kind of surprising.
