Why did he skip 130lb? seems weird. but its worked well for him i guess he is in a 50-50 title elliminator.
Cuz he stayed at 126 too long. Cutting too much weight. He only stayed long cuz he was champion.
This. He stayed for too long at a prohibitive weight class. Ok, he is built skinny but looked like an octopus at 126 lbs and that helped him a lot.
Yeh. Had he lost the belt earlier or had no belt, he probably would have moved up to 130 first then 135..
There's a number of boxers who skip a division. Maybe not always because you're cutting too much weight to begin with, could be any reason.
Didn't Mosley go from 135 straight to 147. Bigger fights at 147 at the time.

Hopkins middle to Light Heavy, if memory serves. Think James Toney or RJJ may have done that.
Naoya Inoue beat Adrian Hernandez for the WBC light fly then two fights later beat Omar Navaez for the super fly.

Controversial draw will look less controversial esp if Terry is involved.

Does anyone know who the referee and judges will be for this?

Putting an acca on all the fights tonight, this is the only one I’m unsure of. Should I leave it out completely or bet on the Selby robbery, even though I think Kambo will win? Just after a bit of persuasion really, I’m on the fence

Selby was more active, but he was majorly punching the air. Kamba landed a bigger amount of telling blows. The scores were strange, but the outcome is good. I had it 115-113 for Kambosos.

X2.
George improves every fight. Never seen Selby miss his jab so many times.

Selby looked like he has not sparred much during camp. His timing and ranging were both way off.

Great fight , really enjoyed it , but don't think Kambosos should be in a big hurry to fight Lopez , get a couple more pay days in before he loses

Roberto Duran is mentioned that he went from lightweight to welter without stopping at light welter, but he had around 15 non-title fights in the 135-140lb range when he held the Lightweight championship, but there was little money in the light-welter championship then, hence the move to take on Ray Leonard

Selby should seriously think about retiring - when was his last decent performance?

Some of the worst commentary for ages on this one. Halling was genuinely shocked Kambo won

Just watched some of the post-fight stuff. Really like Kambosos’ attitude. Confident without being arrogant and a real honest talker.

Brit judge Edwards with some excellent home cooking there, obviously looking to Eddie and hoping to become his new favourite judge, replacing the out of favour Terry.
