Thanks mate I thought so. I’ll give them a bell.

On the flip side, even if the channel is activated, it isn’t HD but Premier Sports does have HD channels, so that is another decider on what to do.

BN has not one but TWO fight cards on this weekend ! :box:

I hope it can survive (perhaps with a lower subscription?) as a standalone channel for cheap US/Russian/Jap/EE cards that have no value to any but the 'hardcore' who'll watch any ol' live boxing.

Great news. Working with two other subscriptions channels at the same time - how did he pull that off?

It doesn’t belong to Frank anymore does it ? It’s Premier Sports now . That’s why they’ve got the PBC after they had the last Eubank fight. If it still belonged to Frank, they’d be nothing on it.

I used to love listening to them. They’d talk nonsense for a bit but then reminisce about some fight or fighter from years ago and give a real insight into it that I had no idea about.

Yup, it was enjoyable for sure and they're love for the sport always came through. It's the type of conversations i have with mates when we sit up watching fights. No other coverage is quite the same, big broadcasters like Sky just give the anchor roles to token women now who know nothing, but it gets the "equality" quota up.

Do you reckon B0x Nati0n in HD will make a return?

As most get BN as part of BT sports pack, it is only in SD like the Garcia fight tonight but Premier Sports has the Garcia fight in HD.

Pretty sure that going forward, even with BN as part of the BT sports pack, we won’t get it in HD unless we either subscribe to Premier Sports or subscribe direct to BN again.

Having it in just SD takes the shine off having it a part of BT Sports pack but £120 a year for plenty fights in HD is well worth it.

allegedly Ramps Up Coverage After New Pact With Premier

Gary Russell Jr’s world title defence against Tugstsogt Nyambayar this weekend will be the first of three live events on allegedly this month, as the UK channel ramps up its coverage after agreeing a new partnership with Premier Sports.

Russell defends his WBC featherweight title against Nyambayar, a Mongolian who won the flyweight silver medal at the London Olympics in 2012, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night, on a show that also features Guillermo Rigondeaux facing Liborio Solis for the vacant WBA bantamweight title.

It’s all the Top Rank shows we need to get TV coverage for again badly.

Noticed the website schedule wasn't up to date a few weeks back but an event was on. Might have been the Williams-Rosario fight.

Assumed they were in shaky waters but seem to have perked up again now with more live fights of late, so hopefully the whole thing improves such as keeping the website updated also.

I cancelled my subscription a year or so back and they still carried on letting me watch. Guess somebody forgot to hit the button to scramble my signal.

I guess the model just didn't work - an obscure channel, dedicated to one sport only, and it didn't have the reach to attract casuals unlike Sky and it's PPV arm.
It was only the hd channel that was ppv if you are with sky Jim.

Said he will go up 2 divisions for the right fight. I reckon Luke Campbell gives him a very good argument if he does and Berchelt on the way.
