Well he’s been to Saudi for the pilgrimage when he was fighting. But no one really says anything whilst doing a pilgrimage.

I have loads of Saudi customers who train at a local RAF base. They despise Yemen.

As for McDonnell,Johnson and Carroll they all got thrown in the deep end. Pretty much chosen to be a ‘soft defence’
Saunders has had financial backing. Something Galahad hasn’t been afforded. Saunders was pretty much the face of allegedly. He had the perfect platform after Lemeiux. A mixture of CoronaVirus, Nasal Spray and being highly unlikeable have stunted his professional growth since.
Fielding won the secondary World title. The fact he was able to cash that in and become the B-side against Canelo is fantastic management by his team. He’s achieved far more than his skillset should of allowed. Far went past his ceiling. Rocky is a success story.
I really like your comparisons with Yafai and Beefy.
Yafai and Smith had ‘World level’ Talent. Exactly the same as Galahad.
The problem with Smith and Yafai was even as World champions they were never going to be the Division number 1.
They went for safe defences, tried to get a unification but didn’t have the marketability to force through a big unification fight.
They both then managed to get a ‘money’ fight as the B-Side of the promotion. (Canelo, Chocolito)
If Galahad can force his rematch through it could be last chance saloon at World level for him. He’s avoided. Far too skilled for what he brings financially and popularity wise to the table.
If he wins I’d expect Warrington to go for a third fight (May be another hard sell if the second fight doesn’t catch fire)
Can’t see anyone in a rush to unify with him. Maybe a couple of ‘soft’ defences on big undercards til an opportunity to pimp the title out as a B-side to a top-tier opponent who brings the cash to the table.

Crolla did 15,000 at The Arena. Eddie wouldn’t risk KG at Sheffield arena. Even Kell struggles. Terri Harper sold most last time.

He was a big domestic star, in his own city. Not nationwide. He could probably take some fans around the UK with him, but there would be no need.
