Not sure if it's been mentioned but you can see Eubank sparring Rod Douglas on youtube. The unfortunate Errol Christie, by the way, also went to war with Prince Rodney in sparring earlier in his career, which did him no favours.

I believe the Eubank Douglas YT footage is from 87, because Chris had a baggy white Lonsdale tshirt he had cut with scissors into some bodybuilder rag vest when I saw him, over a ripped vest.

Rod's team knew of Eubank from the year before, the YT footage. When they sparred in 88, Eubank wanted paying. Rod got the better of it one time, about five days before his US debut, I guess Eubank wasn't sharp because Duff and Warren had turned him down so he couldn't get fights, then a few weeks later Eubank got the best of a six-rounder jabbing and moving instead of throwing leather.
