When the bell went Eubank snr was as brave as they come.

It was the strength of his world title opposition that raised criticisms.

That’s because only 1 in 5 were serious threats BUT that was 1 opponent a year because he was that active. It’s not like Calzaghe where only 1 in 10 were any kind of threat and that was 1 opponent every 5 years.

And rightly so. Many of those opponents were a joke. The middleweight divisions had dried up by the late 90s to be fair. But still.
