I don’t know how YouTube revenue works. I think the amount of subscribers you have contributes but the amount of views your videos get is the main thing I think. Obviously IFL videos get a hell of a lot of views and also they make a lot of videos. Often interviewing everyone associated with a show several times during a fight week and that’s almost every fight week.

A lot of people here call the IfL lads lucky but ultimately I bet they bang in 12+ hour days when you take into account the interviewing and editing/creation of the videos, and no guarantee that those long days will generate any money as their income (sponsorship aside) isn’t guaranteed.

I don’t make a hell of a lot considering I’m a graduate but I’ve always had my income and hours of work set and pretty much guaranteed. But I’ve always admired people who are able to spot something nobody else has and turn it into a business and put the graft in to make it big. You cant deny that’s what the IfL lads (the ones who actually got it off the ground) have done.
