only question left is how good is his chin? Leo clipped him but leo has no pop. Other than that I thought Tank was doing great on offence wiht upercuts, crosses and jabs.

The crazy thing is santa cruz got a solid chin and i can't remember him going down before and to just spark him cold like that scary power.

Left uppercut, looked good.
What did the rest of the fight look like ?
Some saying LSC ahead comfortably after 3-4 rounds, is that true ?
Looks good on paper for Tank.

Cruz was showing effective aggression the firsts 3 rounds. Tank was having trouble finding his range against the longer taller fighter. Round 4 Tank started to get closer and found his range a little more and landing some nice power shots, but Cruz was still doing well. The 5th was a lot like the 4th, both guys touching each other quite often, but Tank was starting to look more in control and landing more frequently. The 6th was basically a war with both guys throwing caution to the wind, but in the end that simply wasn't going to go well for Cruz and the highlight reel uppercut for the KO showed why.

Teofimo is not Leo Santa Cruz. From what I saw, if Teofimo landed some of the punches that Leo landed, it would have been lights out for Tank. He should stay away from Teofimo.

No they should fight. The fight is 50/50 in my mind. They have also sparred before, footage is available on YouTube.

I agree, if Tank is as easy to hit as he was tonight against Teofimo, he will be end up like Leo did tonight. Tank should go thru Loma first as a measuring stick.

then it will also be worth more money

It would probably take a year and a half to somewhat familiarize the public to Lopez, a little earlier for Tank.
Fight wouldn't take place until 2022 unless both wanted to take that chance and put all the marbles on the line.
Maybe that's where we need to go.

Any combo of tank, teo, Garcia, Haney, loma, and stevens. They are all epic matchups.

Agreed, lightweight to welterweight is stacked with talent! Though I think most of those lightweights are at their max limit as Garcia proved, it's a pretty big step up to welter with some big guys there.
Who do you see as the best of the lot at lightweight??

No Idea. guess i would have to go Teo based of the loma win, but it comes down to how good/bad lomas shoulder was...
They are all very different.
-Loma, bit small, no reach, not great power, but a boxing genius.
-Teo, good size, strong, decent power good boxer.
-Tank, Decent boxer, different style, great power..
-Garcia, Fast, powerful, long, less proven, Bit simple and Just seems like he might lack durability (just pure hunch).
-Haney, One i know least of, looks big, looks hard to beat, bit awkward, bit of everything.
-Stevens, Best defence, good boxer, bit small, lacks power, but just very hard to hit clean.
That would be my breakdown. they are all close enough that I imagine if you had them all fight each other, it wouldent produce a clear best lightweight, there would be weird triangles and such.

That’s exactly how I see it mate
I think Tank beats Lopez but loses to Loma who Lopez just beat

Brutal card with blood and KTFOs.
Davis - Santa Cruz fight lived up to its status. A great bout. Santa Cruz came there to fight and confidently took the first two rounds. Davis did a good job of adapting and catching Santa Cruz. The KO punch was perfect. This uppercut KO looked almost as brutal as Povetkin's one over Whyte.
Now it'll be interesting to see Davis against the likes of Lopez, Haney, Garcia-Campbell winner or Lomachenko.

Anyone else feel LSC got too confident?
He started slugging a little and going toe 2 toe. And that’s when he got caught.
That Left Uppercut was a punch waiting to land.

Probably Santa Cruz thought, that he had blown three rounds in a row. He indeed started the 6th with more will to go for it.

I didnt think davis would ice him- santa cruz has ways shown a world class chin.
Davis has one shot power at a world class level - thats rare. Hopefully we get him in big fights going forward
