He’s only done it for publicity and he’ll get the tax back.
Always puzzles me when people say something has only been done for tax reasons.

It doesn’t matter how good your accountant is, you can never make a net gain from contributing to charity.
Indeed, why I put it in ‘quotes’ :TU:

It leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth.

It just shows how low down the pecking order boxing is in terms of respect and sports for the Government.

What do people think of AJ funding grass root boxing? - hopefully it is a consistent thing and not a one off

I can honestly say, here in my home city, the most unruly kids who can’t be kept in mainstream schools, go to our gyms all day and some have done amazing things over the years. Off The Hook the charity is called. They’ll listen to a coach.

it is a disgracee how they have let boxing go the wall like this , honstely i dont think we know how lucky we have been in the last id say 7 years with quailty shows in uk ireland america , europe asisa i mean great cards on every other week, such a shame ,it is such a great sport to channel your aggression, builds your self respect keeps you fit , commardee pardon the spelling ,all that stuff keeps a lot off people outta jail which in long run say 40 grand a prisoner a year also untold missery for familys , and puts pride in people nations , crickett an elitist sport which no one watches or rugby. no diging them sports out by the just who needs the money more
