fig is basically just moving forward, putting his head down, and throwing everything without even looking

Brandon wins the 4th - He's walking thru' Nery who is bothered by his power.

Think my stream is lagging behind you blokes.

Rd 3 was insane - looked like some kind of power punch record. They can't keep this pace up.

3-0 Nery.

Round 4

With Figueroa it's put your head down walk in and wail away, his volume of punches is his strongest point.
Nery content to fight it out on the inside which is where it inevitably ends up.

2-2

Figueroa is painfully all heart but very limited skill.

Round 5

Nery boxing a bit better on the retreat and scored with some goods shots to the body on the inside.

3-2 Nery

First fight I see where Nery is outboxing his opponent.

nery with a good 5th, mixing boxing and moving with a bit of slugging. brandon couldnt touch him when he moved

4-1 nery but could be 5-0

Nery up 5-1 in my card. but seems to be running out of steam, his puches seem to have no snap.

Dam my stream is cutting out and buffering. Can't comment on 4 and 5. I'll just stop scoring for now but looks like Fig is getting back into it due to his relentless pace.

Round 6

Messy affair.
Nery scoring with some clean shot on the inside, Figueroa's boxing is very below par.

I get what you're saying about Fig's accuracy, but I prefer his intensity and workrate.

nery's got plenty of intensity and workrate himself, not to mention much higher quality punching. but let's see how his gas tank is

Round 7

Just before the mid way point Nery took a shot and was clearly hurt, he seemed to gas out very quickly from that moment.
Figueroa was just wailing away and hitting and hoping for the most part with very little skill behind his work.
Looked like a body shot that took Nery out, he went down and didn't make an attempt to get up and beat the count.

Figueroa wins by stoppage.

Rd 7 pace was insane.

Nery not the same up at 122 where these big strong guys can take his shots

Can't say I was impressed by Figueroa but he got the win good luck to him.
Doubt that performance will scare the living daylights out of future opponents that's for sure.

i mean, if you score rounds based on what you think will happen in later rounds or based on who you think will win eventually, sure, but taking it round by round i dont see how nery wasnt ahead. him looking spent in round 6 for example doesnt change him doing much better than brandon in the 5th

there are plenty of fights that give the impression that a stronger boxer will eventually take over, doesnt mean that we should just give them all the rounds from the start
