Big R8 for Yafai that.
They’ve had Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, all kinds on tonight. Better than Sw**t C*roline anyway, I’m digging it
Yeah I prefer this promoter tonight to the one who does the sweet Caroline thing.

I mean it makes you sick doesn’t it. Every single fan in the stadium on their feet singing. If I was a promoter and saw that, I’d shit can the idea immediately and insist that every person in the stadium not leave until they have the words ‘casual sh1t c nut’ tattooed on their head.

Fair play, the championship rounds go to Yafai on even the dodgiest card. He's in with a good chance of pipping this. Wins on my card, will he on the judges?

Christ. I agreed with the 116-112 but the 119-109 was crazy!

Surely this card was sanctioned by the Italian equivalent of the BBBoC. The same body that had a guy use glue on a cut a few years back (Di Rocco.)

Seems the judges go with the promoter and not always the home fighter.

Good fight enjoyed that, styles gelled pretty well, agreed with the 116-112 card for Yafai but didnt have a clue who was getting it, that 119-109 card is horrendous, Rigoldi was like a bull, strong and and took a good shot, Yafai's lack of a jab allowed him to get inside too easily at times and hustle him, Yafai landed the real eye catching punches though, walked Rigoldi on to some clean shots, especially the lead right, not sure why he never kept targeting the body, he was a bit inconsistent in his work, looked good one round then gave Rigoldi one next, he finshed well though and was hitting Rigoldi clean in the last couple rounds and was doing a good job of making him miss, good win for Yafai and good experience

Yafai deserved the win, 115 - 113. Rigoldi as usual charged and showed some serious pressure, however, Gamal had the clearest shots and showed more variety. Exciting bout, though.

The commentary team weren’t kidding when they said Rigoldi doesn’t really try to maximise the southpaw stance. He’s one of the least southpawy southpaws
I have ever seen. He makes Frank Fletcher seem subtle

Hahahaha, I’m not talking about promoters, and certainly not a hater. Just nice to have a bit of a change to the tunes.

Older Lebedev knew how to use the angles and used them quite a lot, to be fair. He was pretty fucken cute against Gassiev IMO. Stepping left then coming with the jab through the centre as Gassiev pivoted/stepped to his own right to adjust. Etc.

Lebby definitely improved as a boxer in the last 5-6 years of his career...I think he started focusing more on skills after he lost to Jones , for 1 reason prob to reduce the shots taken to that eye in the future, and 2 because despite the eye he still threw a ton of punches and kinda gassed out late because jones didnt go anywhere. with a bit more pacing and defensive focus he coulda won that on points

he did outbox gas for long spells too just with some basic jabbing and turning, i think that fight put the writing on the wall as far as how gass - usyk was gonna go

Hi lads, didn't want to post this in a new thread.

Do either of you know if there are 'spoilers' on the app?

If I was to open the app at 10am Saturday morning instead of setting my alarm for the Golovkin fight, would I just be able to watch the full card without being confronted with interviews about the fight?

Cheers

On the telly app it doesn't look like it is set-up in such a way to give spoilers. Imagine a YouTube style interface but without clickbait titles and captions.
