smith has fought hart, alvarez, and vlasov and won a title. nows he's a solidly big attraction on us tv and bivol is forgotten and on undercards like this despite widely beating him

bivol being managed like total poop. he beat smith, pascal, and stopped barrera.........yet now he's spent the last 2 years fighting lenin castillo and craig richards ...da f@ck man

i think it was more to do with bivol himself than the management his pal Maxim Dadashev died after a fight 2019 ,he seemed to lose something after that, in a way maybe this is a good fight back for him as richards will be live and hungry

bivol has absolutely 0 urgency doesnt he. poor showing for him tbh. he's a guy who lost like 3-4 rounds combined to smith, pascal, and barrera

i hope it was mostly due to him not taking the fight too seriously. often fighters do perform best vs better opposition. i think him vs ramirez is happening next. both good fighters who stagnated
