but then again only just last year I bought a copy of Sugar Ray Leonard's autobiography and it came out in 2011.

Probably just never felt like it. While I love autobiographies for the most part and am glad that people do them there is a certain amount of self involvement and self importance to believe that people want to read about your life etc. MMH never struck me as the kind of guy that would have written one despite how much I (and I'm sure boxing fans everywhere) would have loved him to.

Hagler is one of my all time favourite fighters and boxing characters. The news about him was pretty shithouse to hear.

Unfortunately my pick has to change now and I have to put Hagler as my #1 choice. I'm still totally gutted by this news.

Where did you hear about the autobiography and the cover art please? Book design generally comes after the text is finished, which would be an encouraging sign in this situation.

I wouldn't be surprised if a number of other boxers/trainers etc had written a autobiographical manuscript during the Covid shut-down.

I saw one The Pugilist, he's on my facebook as Pugilist Steve. But he did advertise about 4-5 other books he's "writing" so I don't know if he gets impulsive with ideas or what, but he actually did say he's working on the book with Hagler. That was in october, and I asked when it would be out and he said the goal was June. I did ask him about a month ago what the update is and he didn't get back to me.
