His finest performance for sure, against Cecilia Roman. Fast, effective jab, flurries on the body, always with the foot on the pedal. Also, the bout itself wasn't boring at all. Kudos, she is helpful indeed to women's boxing.

A Tinder profile is using pictures of Ebanie Bridges to catfish lads and has added years to her age.

The boxer took to social media on Monday to share a screenshot of the fake dating profile with her 516,000 Instagram followers, captioning the picture "Abbie is catfishing". As well as having changed Bridges' first name to Abbie on the account, the profile also listed her age as 38, when she is in fact only 35-years-old.

Bridges, who turns 36 at the end of September, took the opportunity to alert her fans to the catfish account, which had been trying to use her fame to lure people in on the dating app.

The Blonde Bomber is currently the IBF bantamweight champion, having won her maiden world title back in March when she beat Maria Cecilia Roman via unanimous decision in Leeds.

She has yet to defend her belt, though, with her next opponent yet to be confirmed since she defeated former champion Roman five months ago.

However, Bridges has continued to fuel her rivalry with former world champion Shannon Courtenay since she won the IBF bantamweight title.



Courtenay beat Bridges in April 2021 to claim the WBA title and hand the Australian her first and only professional defeat. She would later be stripped of the belt, though, after missing weight before her maiden title defence against Jamie Mitchell later that year.

The Baby Face Assassin has been confirmed as a contestant on the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Her appearance has drawn further comparisons to Bridges, who featured on the Australian version of the show earlier this year.

This was noticed by fans, with one responding to the news on Twitter by writing: “I see Courtenay is copy/pasting @EbanieBridges again.”

Bridges took the chance to share her thoughts, though, replying: “I hope it changed her a little and she grows as a person tbh.” The first episode of the new series will air on Channel 4 at 9pm on Sunday, September 4.

"I'm f****** jealous mate," one fan wrote in a message aimed at Brook. But one fan joked that they were indeed the perfect pairing, as they replied: "Couldn't pick a better date. You and Kell are perfect champions together."

One fan got very distracted, as they wrote: "I don't know what you’re talking about I just see melons." And one user agreed with them, as they added: "Saying what the people are thinking my man."



"Some special K on the menu tonight," one fan speculated. And they weren't the only one to joke, as another wrote: "I instantly thought it as soon as saw it pop up."

Of course, the duo are just friends, and Bridges even claimed that she'd choose to get rid of Brook when faced with a difficult question. During a Q&A session, Bridges was asked who she would s***, marry and kill out of Brook, Amir Khan and Conor Benn.

Bridges claimed that she'd indeed romp with Khan, and agreed that Benn would be the best person to marry. But unfortunately in this scenario that would mean Brook is the unfortunate boxer that didn't make it.

"Ah, man, you're killing me with these," she said when tackling the tough question. "The Daily Star gonna write an article," she added, and she was right.

Ebanie Bridges has revealed the emotional ordeal of flying back to Australia to break up with her boyfriend.

The Blonde Bomber spoke candidly on Pub Talk - a show featuring Ray Parlour and Alan Brazil - about the reasons behind why she decided to put an end to the relationship with her partner back in July, who she had been with for ten years.

The IBF female bantamweight champion said to the pair on their YouTube channel: “I went home, broke up with my boyfriend and came back! I pretty much had to. We were together [for] ten years.

“Because he’s known me for so long and I am driven, always have been throughout my whole life, he knows that there is nothing stopping me really. This is my goal and my dream and unfortunately, it was either you come or you don’t and I could not expect him to give up his life there to live in Australia, which is a great life, to come with me and live my life."

An emotive Bridges continued: "We understand and care about each other enough to know that it’s not fair on him because I am never home, and I am home I don’t want to be there because I feel so stagnant at home."

The Aussie boxer also told Daily Star Sport exclusively about her previous relationship, touching on how she has dealt with the breakup since leaving for the UK to follow her passion for boxing.

She told us: “Extremely difficult for me. It’s been hard the last two years because I have been travelling a lot. We’ve been together ten years and he knows what I am like. I chase my dreams and no one is going to f** stop me, and he knows that. He supports me, he obviously encourages me to do what I need to do.

“But at the same time, unfortunately, where my road has gone, it’s gone a very long way from where I was ten years ago and where I was five years ago. We both love each other so much, that we both want the best for each other in that sense."

She continued: “For me, he knows and I know that for me and my career and for what I am set to achieve, being here is the best thing for me. For him, he’s got nothing here except me, he’s got an amazing job, beautiful horses, he has a set life in Australia and he is very close to his family.”

Bridges' first defence of her IBF bantamweight title was announced last week, with the Aussie set to face off against Shannon O'Connell.
