It’s been confirmed for Fite TV. Shame as I was hoping Ch5 or allegedly would have picked it up.
If and when Eddie leaves Sky this would be the kind of card that it would be good for them to get.

Surely it can't be too hard for BN - or a new startup - to buy up all the cheap, "left over" TV rights and show them to the hardcore for a few quid a month ?

They’d lose a lot of money as the demand isn’t there.
Just having a TV channel before you pay for any TV shows is expensive. Just being on a random Sky channel is at least £150k/year whilst it’s several million to be on freeview.

Why would it be an issue for allegedly having a Matchroom fighter on there?

The app is free to download and you just pay per fight. Loma fight was $10, works out about 7 quid I think.
Yeh I already have the app too..

Press Release
Liam Smith is confident that he would defeat Magomed Kurbanov 10 times out of 10 ahead of their showdown on Friday.
Smith said: “If you throw a challenge at me I’ll take it with both hands. This fight was offered to me, so I watched a clip of Kurbanov and thought that if I turn up I’ll beat him 10 times out of 10.
“We’ve all been going through the pandemic and there haven’t been many offers coming in, so this was a fight I thought I’d take. Everything made sense to me and it’s a good fight that people are talking about.
“Kurbanov can punch a bit, and it’s a fight that has made me sit up, take notice and get my teeth into. I’m in very good shape and I can’t wait to be back.
“I’m in the last part of my career now, but I haven’t been in many wars and I live a good, clean lift at home. I’m ticking all the boxes and performing well in the gym, so I can’t wait to be back under those lights.
“I’m happy with what I’ve been doing in the build up, and I’m confident of beating Kurbanov. I’m not looking past him, but if I beat him then the doors are wide open for some big fights.”

I've heard Mike McCallum was his apprentice,Mike used to dream about becoming a boxer during his tea breaks and would spend his lunchbreak hitting and old bag full of tank lagging.

My understanding is that the card starts at 1pm UK time? Not sure what time Smith is in the ring but I reckon it’s well before 8pm Mighty & Ruthless?

You’re right. 3pm Moscow = 1pm London.
Depends how many fights are shown aswel. There’s a number of fights on.
Let’s say main event starts at 10pm Moscow, that’ll be 7pm London. I’d say tune in around 6pm to be sure..
