Wasn't that an eliminator for the world title? I can't remember, but I thought it was someone else for the European, Brahmer?

Yeah pretty sure it was world title eliminator with Inkin. I'm struggling to remember now, but Inkin might have pulled out of the fight twice.

On the money Butch

From skysports 28/4 /2008 :

Russian pulls out of WBC eliminator for the second time

Unbeaten British and Commonwealth champion Carl Froch has been left fuming after his May 10 showdown with Denis Inkin fell through. Froch was due to face the unbeaten Russian in an eliminator for the WBC super-middleweight title. However Inkin has now pulled out of the fight for a second time. Originally Froch was due to fight the 30-year-old on March 29, only for Inkin to withdraw after being left bedridden with a virus. Now Inkin will miss the rescheduled bout after reportedly suffering a slipped disc in his back in training

Probably DDD. I could see him capturing the European strap after he loses to Uysk again.

Joyce Dubois is the last EBU title fight I can remember being a big deal. The belt doesn’t seem to be on the radar much these days.

I take it Ituama isn’t gonna go down this route. Which is a shame.

No idea why they’re rushing him.

Commonwealth has become anachronistic, so forget that.

British champ is Wardley, right? He might vacate soon if something gets sorted with Pulev. I would like Moses to target the British.

EBU is Labinot Xhoxhaj. I think Queensberry could make that fight. Perhaps do that in May?

Fought twice for EBU lost twice. Never fought for commonwealth. (I think)

He boxed for both British and World title against Sibbo on same night oddly.

Matt Skelton got close, won the English, British, Commonwealth and European plus challenged for the WBA and won the WBU. Excellent after coming to boxing so late in his career.
