think the irish hav e the best chance with france and england at home.

France will have to play a lot better than they have in their first two games to beat us. Ireland look like favourites, Wales v Ireland will be a right battle.

I was at Twickenham Sunday, great seats about five rows back near mid-pitch. Awful second half. There was a sense after about three minutes of it that England were going to crack. A few guys played well but almost no leadership. Damn they miss JoOhnson.

What I will say is that a few years ago I watched NZ versus South Africa at Dunedin and really noticed something that had been pointed out to me previously - NZ crowds wait for the team to lift them. Most other crowds (less used to success...) just cheer like buggery from the off. It struck me on Sunday that the Twickenham crowd is now exactly like that and, whereas the Welsh support is rabid from the moment they wake up in the morning to when the drift off into a Brains-induced slumber, the English now more than ever are looking for the team to rouse them rather than the other way round.

I'm thinking the Taffs could do it this year. Ireland not clicking that well and not firing on all cylinders in their money positions.

You may laugh, but that might be on the cards at some stage. Sinfield has already been approached once, and said maybe in a couple of years. McGuire has also said that he'd like to play union at some stage, and rumour has it that Walker and Bailey have been looked at on more than one occasion.

And Coconut, if only it was just Johnson that they miss in terms of leadership. I think it's much worse than that. It's bad news when you lose Back, Wilkinson, Johnson, Catt, Leonard, and Dallaglio. That's almost all the natural leaders from the world cup winning side. Plus the side have lost some dependable replacements through retirement, and have injuries to other key players.

I must admit that I thought before the six nations started that England's young players were still good enough to win the whole thing. Unfortunately they have suffered through lack of experience, direction, and also perhaps unrealistic public expectation. I don't think that you can change three quarters of a team and expect it to be as good as before. I don't think we'll see a really competitive England team until the middle of next year.

Although I've been surprised by how good the Welsh have been, I don't think that they'll finish top. They might well be good enough to split the Irish and the French though.

Well, the stories I have heard about Gavin Henson - they would make a great couple. To say he likes the odd pint is a bit of an understatement. He made his Wales debut a few years back and lasted no more than 5 minutes. We left the game early because it wasn't competitive (Romainia I think) - and first club we went to we saw Henson pissed as a fart.

Not sounding gay, but I don't see how the women find him so attractive, to me he looks a groomed Ruud Van Nistelrooy. He got a out of preportion sized head like the Manchester United striker - don't hear of Women screaming for him.

Great Rugby player mind, so let the Women love him as long as he carries on doing the business for Wales.
