The way Maj went down from that punch it looked he was getting walloped anyway.
Lot of even looking fights on the card, seems Hearn Is bolder matching his US fighters than his uk ones .
A soon as you saw Fedosov you knew he was up for it. But still a surprise

He woke up a bit in the 3rd, even bloodied Espino's nose!
Looks so limited though...
Yeah, he's very basic, not much defence or finess. Boxrec records a kickboxing fight and he looks like it with the footwork.
Yeh that's true those who start with kickboxing always stand too straight on and need reeducating when they move over to boxing.

Now let's see what Gongora has to offer tonight.

IBO World Super-Middleweight Championship
Carlos Gongora vs. Christopher Pearson
IBO? That's scraping the barrel of 'world' titles, but as long as it's a good fight I don't give a shit.

The Majidov knockdown looks odd . Can’t see his feet positioning as the punch lands and then he must have twisted his ankle when he hit the floor
Didn’t look much of a shot . Majidov was half riding it and then it looked like someone pulled the rug from under him

This cards been matched like amatuer boxing, guys with similar records coming through, the way it should be, ive never understood why pro boxing its necessary to fight fodder early on their careers instead of guys with similar experience, ive no gripes with journeymen being able to box, ive massive respect for them, these guys who regularly pull promoters and opponents out the sh1t by taking fights at short notice but lets have it right, they're the first to admit they cant afford to win or they wont get work, why is that any better than match fixing and why does pro boxing owe anyone a living? Journeyman should fight similar level fighers and so should novices, you build up 4 rounders to 12

1-0 Gongora. Easy opening round. Pearson taking nothing out of Gongora in the opener.

A lot of people going to be switching off if this doesn't improve. Pearson is just not competitive so far,

Gongora 40 - 36 Pearson. Not too much happening.

You Gotta be an absolutely brilliant fighter to not be slightly worried about getting in with someone like Liam Williams just now

Andrade is a good boxer, he wanted the big fights. He’s only to blame. He can be exciting, but only chooses to do so for a few rounds.

i agree, this is how undercards should be.....so far we've had 2 upsets for jones and majidov, a very competitive md for biyarslanov, and even in the last fight that the house guy clearly won he still got bloodied

Pearson on the ropes Andrade going through the gears, not competitive, the fight virtually over by round 6.

Come on Liam. Needs to try and turn it into a scrap early on. Can’t let Andrade build up a lead.
I hope Liam does come on but I have a bad feeling about this.

Everything says the tall American wins this on points, but there’s always a chance if Williams lands early hard, things could change rapidly. But Andrade could be dangerous early too
