I knew this was coming. Does Buchanan consider himself British or Scottish (or UKish)? How about for the purposes of this thread?

Maybe there should be a poll to determine if he should be included whether he likes it or not.

Kidding aside; Buchanan hung in v Hands of Stone, while behind 128-117 on my card, until attempted neutering after the bell ending 13. The Panamanian was very frustrated that he could not put the prince of nails away.

Come on, lads, we had 10 years of debate on Andy Lee being Irish. Scotland is clearly in Britain.

Great Britain is the name of the island so anyone from England Scotland and Wales is British.

I apologize, folks. My comment was in gest, based on Buchanan v Duran not having been mentioned up to that point.

Definitely one of the bravest performances by a Brit.

Course he's a Brit, mate. But, like Taylor he'd more than likely class himself Scottish first and foremost. Like a helluva

thing 'when a Scotsman has sporting glory. Their argument is " ffs they're British when they win and Scottish when

It probably happened before this, but my first recollection of this was when Alan Wells won the 100M Gold and the
country celebrated big time. Certain brickbats came flying over the border. The major one was when Murray
turned out to be shit hot with a racquet.

Actually did anyone ever hurt him as bad as that time Martinez wobbled him? At least I recall a scare at some poin in that fight it was like one of the two rounds he didn’t win. Other than that I don’t recall him ever being on the verge of being stopped, even.
