Is this for a genuine world title or nonsense one? Genuinely confused.
It’s the regular belt. So yeh, nonsense.
Same thing like when Quigg was WBA regular champion.
Market it as a world title fight.

A nonsense one.
Santa Cruz holds the real WBA version but hasn't defended it for 2.5 years, not that makes much difference.

Thanks guys. More spin bullshit by Hearn then. I’m pretty hardcore and he conned me.
The casuals have no chance

If you know who the champions are then fair enuf.
Even hardcore fans don’t know all the champions.
I know majority of the real WBA champions.
Probably only 1 or 2 Regular beltholders.
Casuals probably don’t give a shit about the belts.
If they hear a ‘world title’ is at stake, then it’s a world championship fight and it’s a big one.

Look back on his fights. The first fight he started ‘filling the gaps’ was when Ben started training him.

Sorry haven’t read thread. I wanna know:
- is Xu any good as his record hardly is hardly breath taking?
- does wood have a half decent change as I fancy some betting action this weekend
he is good, really good engine and workrate. travelled and beat unbeaten home fighters in australia and usa already too. looks bigger than leigh as well. not a puncher or particularly silky smooth though
i would expect him to win, would be an excellent result for leigh if he could score an upset
my guess is leigh hangs with him early but xu eventally takes over with his pace

LOL I’m not that interested in the fight…. Don’t want to plough through a 200 line Ben Davison like analysis…. I just wanted the quick rundown. :-)

I can’t believe he’s odds on v Yildrim ?
Is it just me - I’d have thought Yildrim has fought well above Cullen’s level.

I've had a little bet on Yildrim @ 13/8. How many are predicting a Cullen win on here?

Like I’ve been saying, it isn’t the wins you’ve had sometimes it’s the performances you put in at the level you fight at. Woods best wins were against the 11-0 Irish kid, Doyle who is English level, and Reece mould who was also English level on paper. BUT he was dangerous against McDonnell and gave jazza a fight, both of which like I say are world level.
In all honesty xu was poor and probably wouldn’t make top 10 domestic list, so it was less of wood doing great.
Leigh gets beat by Ryan Walsh whose never a belt above British and came short at euro…but like with wood Walsh is above the level of titles he’s won, but his resume is a lot better.

Surely the WBA have to vacate this belt?
Jordon Gill is rated #3 by then and I can see Eddie getting that fight for the world title then he can have his very own British unification fight next summer with Galahad/Dickens.
