For me it was a great fight to watchCounter-puncher wrote: ↑19 Aug 2021, 15:50A crying shame I missed the fight live, fox knows why, cos when I watched it for the first time I knew it had happened. You all must have been going batsh1t watching it live, imagine being ring side. I’d have been like Bruno banging on the canvas for Benn McLellan.
Moments in boxing that you thought were bad ass.

George Foreman's knockout of Gerry Cooney is bad to the bone.funso banjo baby wrote: ↑19 Aug 2021, 11:01 Holmes gesturing to ref to step in against the boy Marvis.
holyfield not backing down after the Tyson ear biting....he was ready to rumble.
Danny Williams bravery in a whole heap of fights ...first that springs to mind is that euro farce where the ref was bent and the promoter was ringing the bell illegally..?pure farce.
George foreman off camera trying to control rioters during the holyfield bowe circus.
That terrible resto fight in the 80's and the moment the Irish (American) guys trainer grabs hold of his opps illegal (unpadded) gloves at the end of the fight.

It probably is the baddest fight ever just pure violence in the air and around the arena. Both wanted to legally murder the other. And the outcome just adds to it, sad as it is for McClellan.

I thought Holyfield tearing into Tyson and making him quit after he got his ear bitten clean off was badass. If it was the other way about Mike would have been running out the ring.
Froch coming back to stop Groves after a terrible start and getting hit with the kitchen sink was awesome.

Tyson's entrance and destruction of Marvis Frazier was bad ass. He looked like some sort of savage animal captured in the wild and now released onto poor Marvis. After a 30 second murdering, his wild-eyed celebration still looks pretty chilling now.
You thought this guy will legit kill somebody in the ring and wouldn't give a shit about it.

It was nothing to do with Mike Tyson, the scared little boy hiding between walls in broken up houses in Brownsville, only ever mugging very elderly white ladies, - that was all Cus D’Amato.

Mercardo is a man who iced Trevor Berbick in the first one. I don't think Larry Holmes was too keen on defending against Mercardo because he defended against everyone else.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑23 Aug 2021, 18:40The fight is bad ass too. Pure Rocky. I like this one as well. Chisora won this one hands down. When he mentions the broken toe at the end the crowd all howl with laughter.

I remember once a reporter asked a fighter who had just won a decision.
Do you really think you won that fight?
The boxer goes - Do you think I didn’t?
