Watch the betting before the fight. A lot of people thought the Darch fight was fixed.

Dave is the best I’ve seen him. I didn’t know him at all before but he’s actually a very quiet, sound guy. He’s been training properly for a long time waiting for an opportunity. The time he puts into helping others in boxing is unbelievable. I hope he gets a bit back.

Some were talking about the likelihood of a fight vs Wardley actually being approved for the British title. Sol Dacres says he has a fight to be announced soon.

Re: Dave Allen.
Remember when he sat outside the ring on a PPV show laughing how he didn't train and ate KFC in camp. Nothing likeable about him at all. If someone else had his attitude to training and his ego they would be slated non stop on these forums.

If social media wasn’t a thing and that is all you saw I would agree but I follow him on Instagram and he comes across as a really nice and likeable man.

I believe people are allowed to change…

Re: Dave Allen.
Fighters come in great shape and dedicate their life to the game and might make a little comment or something then people cry about it and say omg he is a prick. Dave Allen constantly takes the piss out of the game for years and mugs off the fans but people say oh but he is a nice guy on Instagram. Get the fornicate outta here man. Even worse when people say Dave is looking in shape wow he is training on social wow wow. Bar is so low for him just because you think he likable on curated social media posts.smiling assassin wrote: ↑04 Jul 2023, 12:26If social media wasn’t a thing and that is all you saw I would agree but I follow him on Instagram and he comes across as a really nice and likeable man.

Re: Dave Allen.
Does'nt make him a bad man , just shows he's not took his carreer serious , and he knows the game well enough to get himself a good payday when he's being used for fodder , thing is if he had been off the KFC , training hard , looking the goods , he would'nt off been offered half the fights he had

Not sure why Dave keeps retiring and coming back? Don't know what else he does for a crust but I get the impression it is money - or lack of it - that keeps bringing him back to the ring.

I wonder what round he will get stopped in. The bookies will be watching the betting closely.

I’ll be steering well clear of betting on this. Just too hard to know with Dave Allen. I won tons on him stopping Nick Webb but lost a bunch of it back on him vs Bracamonte.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑05 Jul 2023, 11:44 I wonder what round he will get stopped in. If it’s Fraze Hope Dave is getting well paid and in good shape. I actually prefer Dave’s chances vs wardly, I think Fraze can box too smart, but he has looked underwhelming so far so if he underestimated Dave it could be fun.
