I did not pick that though, I expected James to get on his bike and jab. The body shots took his legs and I dunno what happened with his jab.

Man, how good is Besputin if he beat this dude? I mean not much of a surprise. Dude that was very in touch with the EE scene had him next to Lomachenko as a top prospect.

besputin was an excellent boxer, but only real gripe with him is that sometimes he would get carried away and leave himself open. he also did by far the best vs abreu that anyone had donee till boots showed up. shame about the peds stagnating his career, he did beat butaev legit 8-4 for this belt butaev won tonight

I hope they give Besputin a slap on the wrist like they do with the big stars. If you want to compete, PEDs are pretty much a given.

ya, only 1 guy out of 17 has it for butaev, i dont see a case for him winning tbh. most rounds he couldnt get his shots off due to besputins movement and speed

Fair enough.. I only watched it once myself..

i only watched it once too, seemed clear enough and not quite good enough to bother with another. but's gripe should not be with scoring, but that bes got caught with peds

and tbf, because of the peds, butaev got this shot tonight and delivered, now has the same belt he fought bes for

2 judges rightfully had butaev up 6-2 vs james (1 off for foul), reflecting the 5-6 rounds of beatdown

the other had james up by 1 , 4-4


looking back now, having it close wasnt as bad as i thought, cuz you can make a case for a 3-0 james start, so even if you give butaev everything from there, with the premature point off he'd only be up by 1, though i think that's the most generous case for jam

James started well, but since the 4th it was all Butaev. While James was fresh, he executed the jab-and-move tactics well, but eventually Butaev got to James and overwhelmed him with power punches.

Lol fans always think man can win boxing match with this jab and move thing. Guess what, if you are not Floyd Mayweather or your oponent is not B class, you will not win fight like that. Jamal James just got beaten by better boxer. Stoppages like that prevent brain damage
