About time Pricey..you know it makes sense. House must be paid off by now and have a few bob

His announcement comes at the same time as the death of a BK fighter following his sickening ko
a few months ago. The journeyman had a raft of stoppage defeats from MMA and latterly gloveless
on his record, just like big Dave's. There but for the grace of.. etc etc.

The Pov' starching in slo mo is sickening. Unconscious on his feet, with his swede hanging there
unprotected like a fairground punch ball.

Hard to imagine now how his and Fury's pro careers ran in tandem for a few years with a ton
of hype.

It's probably the sensible thing to do. A terraced house in the north wont cost more than he earned from his bigger fights. A few of them and it's a rental income.

Fair play to him. Always thought it would be Price that wouldve gone all the way after smashing through Fury in a domestic British title fight years ago. Funny old sport isn't it boxing.

Always enjoyed watching price fight, and hope he enjoys his retirement.... Who'd have thought that after seeing him do Audley in one round, that it would end up being his best win, and that Audley probably had the better career, funny old game indeed.

Yeah, I thought the same at the time. I remember the rumours swirling around that he was chinny and had been done over in sparring a few times, but I attributed that to the usual sparring stories you hear, that are usually unverifiable.

I think he should open a speciality tailors for men with wardrobes for bodies.

He’d have been better staying as lean as possible and working on the suspect stamina aspect. So many heavyweights go to pot when they go crazy on the whey protein and extra calories - Price, Wilder etc. The extra weight will surely do for Fury at some point too.

He was a very likable man but he was the 21st century version of Bombardier Billy Wells. If he wasn't knocking people out he was getting sparked out. I remember being one of the very few people who predicted that Thompson would knock him out--- because my rationale was if older than dirt Matt Skelton could pin him on the ropes temporarily he was there for the taking.

I hate that the match with Tyson Fury never happened, but it is what it is. One man was thought to be the heavyweight champion of the world in the making (Price) and the other man was largely dismissed by the British public (Fury) and the exact opposite occurred.
