Joe is a good watch.
Shame about Callum, this was going to be a good fight while it lasted.

Real shame.

I think I read that this is Smith’s last fight before his contract expires with Top Rank. I can see Eddie throwing the money at him, matching him with one of Buatsi/Callum Smith/Bivol.

Can’t see the Johnson fight being rearranged unfortunately.

Just about sums Johnson's career so far, gutted all the same, it was a good match up, hopefully they bring in a decent name in

Is there anyway boxing can just stop testing and go back to normal?? Pretty sure I read recently WWE were going back to normal, wonder if Johnson's even symptomatic? The fact nobody seems concerned really about his wellbeing probably tells how we all feel about covid these days especially among the fit and healthy, if Johnson's had to pull just because of a failed test when he feels fine would be an even bigger kick in the balls for him.

Surely he's in America now eh?

Always a slight suspicion when Warren and Joe G are involved in a pull out though it's gotta be said

I wasn't sold much on this particular matchup, so Johnson being replaced sounds fine for me. However, obviously a too bad replacement won't be a big deal. I wonder, who more or less decent can take an offer on the short notice. I bet Vlasov can, but there can be problems with visa or some stuff like that.

Steve Geffrard gets the fight. Not even ranked in the top 15. Never heard of him previously and he’s fought once in 3 years.

Surprised no one in the top 15 took it but who knows re: the money offered.

geff was a really good amateur, who then shockingly lost his first 2 pro fights and had to pull a prince patel type job, basically building his record back without any serious team.

he went from a hot shot to an underdog story. big chance for him here.........but you cant really say he's had anything like the right prep for it
