Do you think Teo could defeat Mario Barrios at 140 lbs?

It would be a good fight if Barios is motivated.
He has a bit of height and reach over Teo, but that didn't stop Tank.
Thing is, Teo and his dad are still moaning about a robbery.
No good can come of that, he needs a clean slate and the motivation to improve.

Yes. I think he would butcher him. Loma under preformed vs teo, but teo under preformed vs kambo. Teo isn’t a god but he is still high levle.. barros hasn’t shown he is high levle. Tank was moving well out of his weight, teo is not.
you can’t look at moving up as being tricky for him, it’s nessasary. I normally don’t listen to excuses but weight cutting when it’s been a problem for years and when a kids fought at 135 from 15 till 23, that’s probably a fair one (although really corner work and strategy is what cost him) Next div up is only 5 lbs away, he is still going to have to cut plenty of weight at 140 he just won’t have to do the most damaging draining 5 lb.

First thing he needs to do is fcuk his dad off, absolute deluded helmet. Promoters are surly not gonna want to work with him.

Didn't Joey Gamache help train Teofimo before the Lomachenko fight? I think the dad can stay, tone down talk a little and bring in boxing coach to do some big thinking and training for them like Gamache..

Not to make excuses for Teo, but the kid had covid didn't he?, bad elbow, and was probably over-trained while cutting weight during the multiple postponnments of the fight. Dads as managers/trainers is a bad idea, imo.
Regardless, congrats to Kambosos, in an excellent fight! Results matter, and it wasn't a fluke.

He did not "run out of gas". He was simply outboxed.
Do you feel Loma was also outboxed when he lost to Teo or are you the ones who continue to make excuses for Loma till this day?
At no point in that fight was Loma outboxed. The first half of the fight very little happened. The second half of the fight it was mostly Loma having success, stunning Teo at times. Loma started too late. I had it a draw.
This take on the Loma/Lopez fight is universal. We all watched the fight, we all saw what happened. For some reason Lomachenko waited until the 7th round to show up. Maybe it was because he was cautious of Teo's power, maybe he was hurt, I don't know why he did that. But what we do know is as soon as he started throwing his hands, he was clearly getting the better of Teo. Teo never outboxed him, though I did give him round 12

You may be arguing with yourself but I don't believe anyone has made such a claim. Though I haven't read through the entire thread.

I hope Teo recovers well from the condition of not breathing well going into the fight. Sounded like he shouldn't have even fought.
